Brilliant Villa near L'Amettla De Mar.
Great villa. We went as a family of six. The kids spent most of their time in the swimming pool. Large enough to dive in at the deep end (8 foot+) and approx 3.5 feet at the shallow end. The villa was spacious. We made use of the barbecue too. The villa has a roof terrace from where you can have a panoramic view of the area and see portions of the sea. The sandy beach is only a 5 minute walk away (Cala Forn) which was quiet in April. It was very clean. All the beaches have showers too. Our villa did not have wifi. Make sure you take some movies to watch in the evenings as the TV channels were all in French. You may want to take a DVD player too. The kitchen had all the utensils needed, including electric oven, gas hob and dishwasher. The storage space/garage had a washing machine which we used too. We hired a 7 seater car from Reus airport which is only about a 35 minute drive away! Very useful to do the supermarket trips in too. The area the villa is in is called La Tres Calas. Nice and tranquil. It even has a local Spar supermarket, a bit of a walk though. Most evenings we would go the the fishing town of L'Amettla De Mar which is about 2Km away. It has a marine, beach and has some great restaurants, shops, fishmongers, markets etc. Take your European tomtom as we did find it very useful. Overall, I would recommend this villa to anyone, particularly with a family.
