Belongil Spit still exudes the ambiance of Byron Bay when it was a quiet town attracting those seeking alternate lifestyles and perfect waves. Sandy Paws on Belongil is the perfect base for families, couples or mature adult groups to rediscover "the bay" as it used to be.

Walk for kilometers along quiet stretches of beach, chill out near Belongil Creek, enjoy from a choice of cafe breakfasts, yoga, a surf right in front of the house, lazy beach days, a float and massage, afternoons listening to chilled live music at the 'Treehouse' restaurant all just steps away from your front door, no need for a car or house keys as access is electronic.

When you feel the need for more, the main street of town is a ten minute walk along the sand, enjoying picture perfect views of Cape Byron along the way.

This property is your perfect "chill zone" for couples and family groups. Please note that this property does NOT accept bookings of young adult groups under 18 years of age.

Sandy Paws on Belongil is a fully self contained which manages to deliver that home away from home type of holiday. Sun-drenched with light, modern and comfortable with a relaxed style which says luxury at every turn. Perfectly positioned with a beach track to beautiful Belongil Beach directly in front of the house over the road , you can take in the surf and sand or enjoy a 5-10 minute stroll along the beach to the town centre, and it's famous cafes and shopping.

Being opposite to the beach access it enjoys the sound of the crashing waves and refreshing sea breezes in the front yard and throughout the accommodation.

This spacious house has plenty of room and features air-conditioning, 3 large bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms (including en suite to the main) and is fully equipped with everything you could need for a fantastic holiday so close to the beach. Sleeps 6 max.

Relax with a BBQ on the north facing deck where you have front row position for watching the variety of people cruising this unique community. A dip in the ocean on your door step.

The yard is fully fenced making it ideal for pets and small children.

We are located directly opposite the dog friendly beach with plenty of parking in front of the house or directly opposite the house in the reserve. (Please note the garage is used as a laundry facility for the housekeeper therefore there is no access to this).

Sandy Paws is available, with approval, for your best friend who also loves a holiday next to the best dog friendly off lead beach on the far north coast. Unlike other properties which claim to be dog friendly, your dog will be allowed inside and in the fully secured courtyard but is not allowed on furniture. A dog bed and bowls are provided. Of course, they must be house trained and well behaved. Please include details of the breed and age of your dog in any booking enquiry.

Byron Bay has a NO PARTY rule in residential areas. Noise restrictions apply. No functions, parties or Schoolies thank you.

To confirm a booking, we ask for a 50% deposit (either Cheque, Direct Debit or PayPal/Credit Card) and completed booking agreement within 2 days of acceptance of quote. The remaining 50% must be paid prior to commencement of the stay as set out in the booking agreement.

Pricing is based on occupancy by up to four persons. Parties in excess of four persons (inclusive of children) will incur an additional charge per person dependent on the season booked.

Bookings can only be made by persons over the age of 18. "NO SCHOOLIES"

Short Term Stay: Minimum charge 3 nights(No Less)

Long Term Stay: Longer term stays are available with price variable according to the time of year booked.
