Our family lives outside of Denver, and travels up to our Winter Park condo several weekends per year. When we are not using the condo we love to have friends, family, and other rentors use the condo.
Todd purchased this Condo in 2006
Why Todd chose Winter Park
Winter Park has the most authentic feel of any ski resort in Colorado. There are no fur coats, furry boots, 5-star chefs, celebrities, etc. There are a bunch of people that like to ski and ride in the winter, bike and hike in the summer, and enjoy all the other activities in between. Silverado II is exactly the same. It is a very nice condo that has everything you need onsite, is in a great location, and is well cared for, but is not over the top in terms of furnishings and unnecessary comforts. This ensures costs are reasonable and everyone who stays has a high level of satisfaction.
What makes this Condo unique
Todd enjoys skiing Mary Jane bumps and mountain biking the national forest trails. Corinne loves skiing on fair weather days, and in the summer has coined a term 'condo-camping' where dads and kids sleep in a tent in the nearby national forest while the girls enjoy dinner around the campfire then return to the condo to sleep comfortably. Andrew loves the hot tub, the game room, the chicken fingers in the restaurant, and taking the Panoramic Express to the top of Parsenn bowl. Olivia likes taking ski breaks for hot chocolate and loves swimming in the Silverado II pool.

I will get down to the facts without any fluff.
1. Condo is well maintained.
2. Condo provides all the essentials you need when you will be staying there.
3. Sits in a great location.
4. Has multiple balcony's you are able to utilize.
Overall, I would definitely stay there again! As I have said before, the owners are very attentive and if you need something; they respond quickly. If you stay here, hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
Nice place with a great location in Winter Park.
Perfect size for a family of four with two college aged kids. The place is very roomy and has all the necessities of life (good WiFi and cable TV). The best part was the location that was near everything 10 minutes to the slopes 2 minutes to town. Underground parking was nice and although we typically drove where we were going, the shuttle stopped just outside the entrance of Silverado II. Easy drive from Denver Airport and easy Check-in / Check-out.
Clean room. Well stocked. Great centralized location.
Parking was great. The room was clean and well stocked. It was a great central location. There was a hiking trail about a half block from the room and great down town walking about 3 blocks away.
Great Colorado condo!
This condo was just what I expected - good accommodations for a good price! We had our family of 6 - 4 kids ages 8-18. The beds were comfy and the large bunkbed worked great for the 4 kids. The well equipped kitchen was perfect so we could eat some meals in. The condo was clean, wifi was good, the kids enjoyed the pool, and the hot tub felt great after a day of skiing. My younger kids injoyed the game room with foozball, air hockey and vintage video games. The workout room was small, but the treadmill worked great and there was a large TV in the room. It was a short drive to shops and restaurants and also a quick drive to the ski area. We didn't use the shuttle, but it looked like it was right outside the driveway - very convenient. We would definitely stay again!!
Had a wonderful time. The location was perfect. Overall pleasant.
Great convenience and accomodation!
Our stay in Winter Park was made even better thanks to our accommodations! The 2 bed, 2 bath condo with fireplace and fully stocked kitchen were perfect for our family. The kids loved the sleds they found under the bed and the toys in the closet. We cooked every meal in and enjoyed our evenings by the warm cozy fire. The pool and hot tubs were a welcomed afternoon escape after being out in the cold all day. The only issue for me was the noise from the condo above - older building and a herd of elephant living upstairs.. Overall excellent experience with the convenience of a lock box so no keeping track of keys necessary. Would do it again!!
