Great value for money!
Cosy (but spacious) house in serene setting. Fresh bread, milk and donuts was a generous welcoming touch. Great location for the Ferguson Valley wine region. House needs a set of decent wine glasses though! Will be back for sure 👍

Location very nice, but cleanliness a real issue.
Lovely fresh bakery items much appreciated however spreads and decent coffee were lacking. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue with some of the rooms and bathrooms - spiderwebs and a moth in some of the linen provided, insufficient crockery for the number of people we had said were staying and the bbq and frypans were rusty and flaking so we couldnt really use them. Nice big lounge and dining area so overall the stay suited our purpose but the house could do with some more care

very dirty
Hoping to have a catch up with family in the country for 3 n days but on arrival the place had not been cleaned cobwebs and dust everywhere. The oven and benches were greasy and cupboards had insects and left over in them. We cleaned before we cooked but were unable to sleep due to dust in air. My daughter in law was sick had wore a mask to bed due to dust. One of the bedroom door knobs fell off and the dining curtains when tried to open fell to the floor as part was broken. the outside area was covered in chook poo and outdoor chairs were all rusty. We would have loved to have stayed if the condition of the house was clean.

Beautiful Scenery
The property is absolutely gorgeous. Waking up drinking your coffee overlooking the lake with ducks and ducklings, cows, chicken and guinea foul. My kids absolutely loved walking around looking at all the animals especially the owners dog Diesel. He was super friendly. Lovely loaf of bread and donuts upon arrival too. Owners were very friendly and welcoming and also very helpful. The only downside would be the mass of midgies.
