Bluegums Nests are the perfect place for that romantic getaway and ideal for a honeymoon or anniversary .

On the edge of the Barrington Tops National Park you will find your Nest high on a hill surrounded by trees.

The Nest is fully self-contained so there is no need to leave. From your beautiful four poster bed you have beautiful views of the hills and sky. There is a log fire, double spa bath, air-con and a fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher) and BBQ on the deck. Candles and organic bubble bath waiting there for you. All bed linen and organic cotton towels supplied.

Located in the foothills of the world heritage listed Barrington Tops National Park, just over 2 hours from Sydney and a shorter drive from Newcastle and Port Stephens.

There are 180 acres to explore with bushwalks, dams, a salt-water swimming pool, tennis court (racquets provided) and amazing wildlife.

20 minute drive from Dungog and Clarence Town, Stroud, Gresford, Paterson, Gloucester and the wineries in the Hunter Valley are only an hour away.

In the lower valleys of the park, you'll find subtropical rainforests and up on the plateau, there subalpine woodland which can have snow in winter.

Most of the area is declared wilderness, and it's a well-known destination for bushwalkers. But the park is accessible even to those with limited mobility.

The park's varied environments are home to a wide range of plants and animals, and it protects more than 50 rare or threatened species.

Relaxing private cottage.

Extremely happy with our weekend away. Perfect for a romantic weekend or even just for a weekend away from busy lifestyle. Plenty of activities including bush walks, tennis and swimming. Highly recommend.

increadible romantic getaway

i highly recomend the bluegums nests to anybody looking for a secluded getaway, with views over the valley and sounds of bellbirds calling, there were plenty of visiters from possoms to king parrots, kookaburras to wallabies. the open plan living has it all weather your cooking up a treat or relaxing in bed at every moment there are views of the toasty log fire and the valley beyond. we were very pleased to stay hear and will most certainly be returning :)
