Due to the closing paperwork which said to turn the ac up to 78'. I thought there was air conditioning. There was not. We got there at 4:00, it was 95' outside, 105' inside. the cabin was all closed up. It took until the next day to get it below 80' inside. good thing there was fans. All in all we had a good time fishing and swimming. Beautiful fireworks on Saturday night. Jim Smith
We apologize for the confusion in the Closing House/Departure Form regarding the temp to set the A/C as you depart the house. That is definitely an error on our part, a copy and paste apparently from the properties with A/C. We have removed that line item from the Closing/Departure paperwork.
In reviewing the amenities of the house on the website listing, A/C is not listed as an amenity provided or available at this particular property. We are thinking that between your reservation in July 2017 and your stay date in July 2018 you had probably forgotten the house did not have A/C and then we inadvertently confused the issue even more with the erroneous A/C line item in the Closing/Departure Form.
Gladwin, as well as most of Michigan, certainly experienced a quite significant and unusual heat wave early this season.
We are glad to hear you still managed to enjoy your vacation....fishing, swimming and the fireworks display. Many of our guests really enjoy watching the fireworks display provided right from the house, yard, deck.
Nice cabin on the lake!
It was just what we needed for a family of five and our dog!!
Clean, spacious, nice access to lake.
Plenty of room for your family or friends. This is the third time we've rented Woods &Water and we will definitely come back again.
Great place to stay
The home was very clean and conveniently located. Perfect for a family of 5
The Grandparents had time to relax and enjoy the calm Lake Lancer. Grandpa took the grandchildren out fishing every day and every night. Lots of Bass and even pike were caught by all. Fishing off shore was great too! Watched the "loon" every day right in front of the house. The house had everything anyone would need. The bonfires at night were great for all and the full moon was just beautiful. Making memories is what a vacation with the family is about and we will have so many to cherish for years to come.
woods and water
great location , great for swimming and fishing. It could use some updating and better beds but all and all a great place to kick back and relax!
