Sea La Vie-The House and Studio- Perfect tranquil getaway in premier location

Quietly located in the beachside suburb of Brighton this spacious and original beach house villa offers space and tranquility. A private getaway, so close to all facilitites. Within the main home there are 3 oversized bedrooms consisting of either 2 Queen Beds and one King Bedroom or 2 Queen Bedrooms and one Bedroom with 2 X Long Singles.
There are two bathrooms, the main bathroom with dual showers and the second a two way en suite with bath which leads out to the decked pavilion and services the deluxe studio adjacent.
The lounge has leather sofas and French doors leading into the large kitchen area that has a distinct casual beach feel.
Adjacent to the kitchen is the large decked entertaining area, complete with lounges, breakfast table and BBQ facilities. A great place to sit and relax day or evening. A beach shower is available for a rinse after a swim. The 4th separate bedroom (The Studio)is spacious and private with a queen sized French bed, flat screen TV and split system air conditioning/heating. This room is only available upon request and at an additional charge. The pavilion and studio overlook established tranquil gardens. The main house has polished floorboards throughout, evaporative cooling and wood combustion heating. White shutters feature throughout the beach house.
Off street parking for two cars and a high fence offers privacy and security.
Perfectly positioned Sea La Vie is 60 seconds walk to the beach and 60 seconds walk to train/bus transport to the City of Adelaide some 12 Km away. A 20 minute taxi ride from the airport at approximately $25.00
Sea La Vie is pet friendly upon booking. Please be sure to advise us if you have pet guests.

Please note that "Sea La Vie" has a strict "No Party" policy. Failure to comply may result in loss bond and termination of stay.
The Studio is available on request and not available where guest numbers are 4 or less. The main beach house comfortably sleeps 6 guests consisting of 3 bedrooms and can be configured as 2 queen bedrooms and a king bedroom or 2 queen bedrooms and 2 king singles.
An additional cleaning charge will be apply and will be deducted from the bond if the house is left in an unsatisfactory state and should linen or furnishings need drycleaning.

Please note Easter weekend and long weekends are a 3 night minimum stay

I have lived in this beautiful area for some years and love the community feel. Long walks on the beach with my working dogs and being home with family and friends is what life is all about. I travel quite a bit and love exotic home wares, art and objects that I have collected.

Why they chose this property

This beautiful original 1923 Villa was purchased in 2005 with the intention of renovating it back to its original state. It was bordering a demolition project and after 2 previous owners was in a sad state of neglect and major disrepair. We decided to retain the home as the old properties are fast disappearing from our landscape. The renovation was to be understated and in past keeping as much as possible to it original bones. The main house has had extensive work as with the more recent addition of the adjacent Studio. Tranquil gardens now replace the barren backdrop that surrounded the unloved home. Sea La Vie is a much loved property by the many who return and stay with us. The renovation is sympathetic to the era of the old beach style houses with original features left in place.

Open the gates and there you will find Sea La Vie, a private and tranquil property just shy of 100 years old set in lush gardens and a relaxing space to enjoy time. Oversized bedrooms, original polished floors and high ceilings welcome you as soon as you enter. Understated elegance combined with a quirky beach house feel makes you feel immediately at home with all the home comforts you look for. Entertain outside on the large rear pavilion or take a bottle of wine and a 50 metre walk to the esplanade and enjoy the amazing sunsets over the beach and jetty. This property has everything on offer, the location is unbeatable and a stones throw to everything including transport.
