Alpine Concierge Services
To make your stay at Nine Steps even more memorable, imagine arriving to a hamper of local produce for breakfast or dinner. Or perhaps you need help organising a romantic occasion, or special event. Alpine Concierge Services can create a bespoke experience just for you.
Nine Steps is a three bedroom, two bathroom home with a large open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area, as well as a smaller second lounge.
The house is designed so guests are sheltered from the weather, while still feeling a part of the environment. Large picture windows are a key feature of the house, along with the many covered decks.
Nine Steps is separated into two pavilions - the bedroom and bathroom pavilion and the lounge/dining/kitchen pavilion. The pavilions are connected by a central deck and glass atrium.
The 'great room' is a stunning open plan space containing the kitchen/lounge/dining. With exposed steel frame and ply paneled walls - it is designed for family gatherings and cosy weekends away.
Picture windows take in views of the bush land and the feature cathedral glass doors and windows look up to the granite face of Mt Buffalo. The large glass doors slide open to a covered deck with Weber BBQ and outdoor dining table.
The great room has a large wood burner, air-conditioning and three ceiling fans, as well as opening windows to catch the breeze and cooler evening air.
The fully equipped cooks kitchen is set around an island bench with bar stools - perfect whether you're preparing breakfast or enjoying some cheese and wine.
Nine Steps was built to be environmentally friendly with a 6 star energy rating. We're also members of our local Landcare Group and the Australian Conservation Foundation.
Nine Steps was built to meet or exceed the BAL29 standards (BAL - bushfire attack level). The frame is made from steel, the decks are clad with villa-board and the windows and glass doors meet the higher BAL40 standards.
Nine Steps is self-sufficient for water - collecting rain water and spring water which is then treated via sediment and UV filters.
Nine Steps is set on 29 acres of bushland and backs onto the Mt Buffalo National Park - which means we have a variety of wildlife as neighbours. At night you can often spot deer, wombats and wallabies.
If you wander around the property you will see many wombat burrows and hear many birds (lots of kookaburras!).
