About this property

The Surgeon`s Cottage is a beautiful 180 year old cottage, in the center of the town and accommodates 4 guests in two bedrooms.

The cottage is self contained, has ducted air-conditioning through out, and consists of a living/dining room with the original open log fire, TV, DVD, and stereo.

The bedrooms have luxurious mattresses, donnas and linen, one bedroom has a king bed, TV, the second bedroom offers the option of either two single beds or one king bed.
A large bathroom with MOR toiletries.
A fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, stove, microwave/ oven, coffee machine.

A serene garden with covered dining area, and a gas barbeque
An outside laundry and a second toilet.

Pets are welcome, suitable for small dogs. Please advise when booking .

Pleasant historic retreat

We enjoyed a relaxing and comfortable long weekend. The property is well maintained and lovingly furnished with all the mod cons. Beautiful historic village with easy access to the wine region. Highly recommended.

Fabulous accommodation

The Surgeon’s Cottage is in a perfect location just as you enter Morpeth. It’s within walking distance to all the shops and amenities. The cottage is beautifully appointed with the most comfortable beds. A wonderful stay in a lovely cottage.

Today the Cottage retains all the character of the early 1800`s, is full of timeless appeal with modern conveniences.
With its central position in the town, across the road from the Hunter River and Queens Wharf, Surgeon`s Cottage is the perfect location from which to explore all the history that Morpeth has to offer, as well as immerse yourself in the towns culture, right from your very doorstep.
