This cottage coupled with it's magical location did not disappoint. Quite simply the best cottage holiday we have ever encountered. Everything was as described in relation to the cottage/location and the surrounding area. The recommendations with regards to eating out were spot on - the Black Lion in Appledore serving up top grade food as one example. Handy for lots of attractions or just quiet walks, this cottage will not let you down. Comfortable, cozy and the ideal please to unwind and de-stress. The facilities in the cottage were excellent wanting for nothing. Miss this delight at your peril - it should be top of your 'to visit/stay' list. Many thanks for been given the opportunity to stay.

Just as the advert said a really Magical place
an amazing country cottage it was like stepping back in time but with all luxury conveniences.
My wife and i had a really lovely winters break and will be going back many times i hope.
What a fabulous place! Stayed with the family and we all loved it. If you get the opportunity then you must stay here. Location is spectacular and a real 'get away from it all ' place. Owners were fantastic and couldn't have been more accommodating. Great holiday!
Pauline & Chris had provided everything we needed for our stay at the cottage (iron, hairdryers, towels, hoover etc..) the cottage was absolutely lovely and the garden was very well maintained. Our children enjoyed playing outside in the garden which was very private.
The cottage itself was very pretty. It was very clean and tidy ) we met the cleaner leaving just as we arrived. The beds were all made up for us - and very comfortable as we found out. The cottage was immaculate and I truly couldnt fault the cleanliness of the bathrooms and kitchen etc.
The information provided by pauline regarding places to visit/eat was very useful! We had a takeaway from ' The Old School house' indian restaurant one evening and visited 'Miss Mollets high class tea room'( in Appledore village)for lunch one day.
Pauline was so helpful answering a couple of little queries that arose during our stay.
The weather was awful one day of our stay (it rained all day!) But we didnt mind too much as the cottage is such a lovely , relaxing place to stay. When the weather improved it was lovely to wake up to the views across the sunny fields as I made breakfast in the kitchen :) there are some lovely places to visit such as old family favourites like Dymchurch and St Mary's Bay beaches. We also visited Rye, Camber Sands and went swimming at Tenterden leisure centre which had inflatables for the kids to use :)
We also visited the designer outlet shopping centre in Ashford -so the cottage is ideally situated to visit all these places...
Wherever we visited during the day, it was always a pleasure to return back to the cottage and just spend a relaxing evening. It really is a wonderful place and you feel 'at home' with the welcoming feel that you get when you first enter :)
We had a lovely holiday staying at the cottage and really enjoyed our time there as a family. We would recommend it to family and friends and hope to return again ourselves in the future :) it is a lovely place to stay, and we came away with happy memories....
A perfect little cottage in a great location. Absolutely charming!
Can't wait to go back :)
Pauline was also very helpful and accommodating.
This is a lovely little cottage, centrally located in easy driving distance to many South Eastern attractions. We spent a week here at the beginning of October this year (2012). The cottage is well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The place was clean and cosy. Pauline and Chris took very good care of us. We had a problem with the internet connection while we were there and Chris responded quickly and got us back in business!
This Cottage has to be seen to be believed !
like a fairytale sitting picture perfect in its own garden with the most amazing views
of the countryside and resident sheep.
Inside is utterly charming and characterful very tastefully furnished and all in keeping with the style of the cottage except for the wonderful colored chandeliers adding that bit of wow factor which we loved so quirky.
