Extended family getaway

We booked this property for a get away with family from interstate for a week. The property is conveniently located close to restaurants, shops and public transport. Beautiful quiet location in a leafy street with plenty of off street parking. The house is superb - with the grandchildren loving the space and their own “apartment” (rooms on 2nd floor). You do not want for anything in the accomodation - with the added touch of gifts on arrival from treats for an antipasto plate, wine to chocolates and fresh bread and fruit. The hostess was available when needed by phone giving that added sense the person touch. I highly recommend this accommodation for a family getaway or just a weekend away with a loved one. Idyllic, relaxing, beautiful family home

We had such a lovely time at Louise & Mike’s house. They were there to greet us warmly at check in and show us about their home. Home being the key word. From the moment we arrived to when we left, we felt completely and utterly at home. Mine and my sister’s families all had plenty of space and a comfy bed for everyone, plus that gorgeous yard to keep my toddler entertained, we couldn’t have asked for more. But we got more because Louise and Mike had even arranged beautiful fresh bread from a local bakery that was still warm when we arrived plus delicious fruit. They were so wonderfully hospitable and I can’t speak highly enough of this property and it’s hosts.

Stunning home in North Sydney!

We stayed for a conference at the local uni and LOVED this home. It's gorgeous and beautifully appointed. So spacious and lovely. We were four colleagues and we had ample room for everyone with varying levels of jet lag! Louise is a wonderful host. Hope to return!

Very open and comfortable home with nice outside space.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the convenience to the city, via the Waverton train. Louise gave us a personal tour of the area to help with our activities. Mike and Louise were so helpful! Great butcher (his Lasagna was delicious) and The Grumpy Baker amazing as well, both close to station.

The many advantages of our house and our location are:
1.The master bedroom upstairs has a beautiful Juliet balcony with palm tree lined view.
2. It is so quiet despite its location to the city of North Sydney and a walk over the Sydney Harbour Bridge to the central business district.
3. The proximity to the Waverton Railway station means the city of Sydney is only three short stops away
4. Waverton is a walker's paradise with harbour foreshore parks in 6 different directions!
