This cozy, modern one-bedroom apartment is situated in the heart of lovely Upper Street, Angel, N1. Completely refurbished to a high standard and carefully decorated, the apartment is a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring the city. This entire 1-bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment with cozy open plan living room and kitchen area is located on the 1st floor above street level. It includes WIFI Internet, cable TV, fully equipped kitchen, and automatic central heating. Just minutes away from London’s most exciting and popular attractions, this flat has everything you will need for a comfortable living experience in London.

Located in very safe and eco-friendly neighborhood, the apartment is walking distance from the Business Design Centre in Angel, and many restaurants, shops, and local supermarkets. Transport by metro/tube, bus, and even bicycles is available nearby.

If you have good luck you will meet our favorite Mayor of London - Boris Johnson - while he goes shopping as he chose Angel as his home. Islington is well known for nightlife and theatre and offers an impressive range to rival the West End.

There is central heating, and no need for Air Conditioning (AC) in London.

The flat contains a fully fitted contemporary kitchen with fridge and freezer, ceramic hob and oven-microwave, Blender and all utensils. . Enjoy a morning coffee from the latest Nespresso coffee machine with a wide selection of flavor capsules and variety of mugs. A washing machine is conveniently located in the apartment for laundry.

There is a folding dinner table and stools.

The couch converts to a double sofa-bed in the living room, and an extra guest bed is available for people wanting to sleep separately.

The entertainment system includes a 32 inch digital plasma TV fitted with a Virgin media box for superb extra channels and recording shows, DVD player, I-pod/I-phone speakers and docking station. There is fiber optic wireless broadband throughout the flat (WIFI), and a courtesy UK mobile phone for your use during your stay. PlayStation PS3 console with selection of games, and 2 controllers. You are welcome to bring your own games for PS3 too.

The bedroom hosts a double bed, and benefits from a bright and airy window. The apartment benefits from blackout blinds for total darkness for a comfortable night sleep, both in the bedroom and in the living room area.

A walk-in shower can be found in the bathroom along with fresh towels, a hair dryer, and a selection of shampoo and soaps for your convenience.

There is public (paid) parking for your car- should you choose to drive into London. We recommend public transport instead- because it can take you everywhere. My apartment doesn’t have parking but you’ll be able to park in the streets (pay-and-display) or at indoor parking at the N1 centre in our area here. Complete specific detailed information will be sent with your booking confirmation and arrival instructions and you can look up online too.

Famous for its nightlife, buzzing Angel offers an impressive choice of entertainment, from bars and restaurants, to renowned theatres such as the Almeida and Sadler’s Well Dance Theatre. Several live music venues are also close by- the Union Chapel, O2 Academy Islington and The Garage to mention some. excellent cosy stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was clean and a breath of fresh air the moment we stepped in, a pleasant welcome coming from the prior apartment we had. Location was great, being close to the underground and the bus-stop was just steps away, great food just steps away. Service from the staff was attentive as well, with our cot being delivered shortly upon request and heating issues were sorted promptly. We would recommend renting from Paulo and team again in future!

nice apartment in amazing neighborhood

We enjoyed the stay very much. The apartment is ideally located, with 4 bus lines at the door and tube and overground stations a few blocks. The department is very small but very comfortable. As a suggestion would need a better table to eat. The host Paulo always answered quickly and successfully to everything required.

The neighborhood has great appeal, full of dining options (a restaurant Gallipoli and Indian vegan restaurant in Chapel Market including) the proximity to Regent channel and the ability to walk it both to Camden as to Shoredich and fair on Sundays Chapel Market are some of the things that would make me go back. Highly recommended for 2 -3 people.

Fantastic flat in Islington

I was exhibiting at The business Design Centre in Islington and Paulo's flat was just a seven minute walk away, past all the lovely Islington shops and cafés.

The flat was clean and warm, perfect for coming 'home' with tired feet. It's really well in the kitchen with lots of pans, plates, bowls, glasses etc.

the back bedroom was nice and quiet, away from the noise of the high street and the bed was extremely comfy, with good quality duvet and bedding.

Lots of places I stay have a rubbish iron but the one here is a regular steam Iron like I have at home and there is a mini ironing board too.

I was meant at the agreed time and the flat explained to me plus there was a manual with all the information in too, including how to operate all of the appliances.

I didn't hear any noise from neighbours and felt very secure on the first floor with three locked doors between me and the outside street.

If I ever need to stay in Islington again I will want to stay here, great place you have Paulo, thanks for a lovely stay.

Cozy but comfortable flat in a great location

This is a clean, comfortable, but cozy flat located on the excellent Upper Water Street in Islington. There is wifi, good TV, and a very well-equipped kitchen; there is very limited option for storage, however, since the wardrobe/ dresser is used for extra needing storage. There are several very nice restaurants, coffee shops, and shops on this street; there are also some good grocery stores and small corner shops. The flat is also a short walk from the Highbury and Islington tube stop; Angel is also near, but this is perhaps a 15-minute walk. One word of caution: the flat is located above a clothing shop, which plays its music rather loudly during the day, but this was not so loud as to cause too much disturbance; one may find the noise from the street a bit distracting also, but the bedroom is at the back and there is no noise. Overall I found this a good place to stay, and would definitely book again when in London.
