The Loft at Graystone Grange is ideally situated for your country stay, being just two hours drive from Sydney and Canberra. If you are searching for peace and quiet, The Loft is just 10 minutes from Berry and Kangaroo Valley villages and is situated on Berry Mountain on a five acre property, with tranquility, mountain views and a beautiful garden (as featured in Australia's Open Garden Scheme) and privacy.

The alpaca herd, friendly geese and chickens love having visitors to feed them and collect eggs and you may see the local echidna meandering on his search for ants.

The Loft building is a separate cottage from the main house and is spacious, with room for 5 adults and children in a small nursery room with a little bed and portacot. There's a full bathroom, separate toilet, deck with hooded bbq, slow combustion stove as well as airconditioning, plenty of books, games, TV, DVD's and player. Substantial breakfast provisions are supplied and dietary requirements catered for. A kitchenette caters for simple meal preparation with a convection microwave, electric frypan, portable hotplates and all amenities and basic kitchen foodstuffs. Dogs are welcome, although they have to be on leash away from the cottage because of the animals and there is no outdoor fenced area provided.

Please note I don't take one night bookings during peak holiday periods.

The great dining venues of Berry are many and varied and most should be booked in advance at the weekend. Kangaroo Valley also has good cafes and restaurants.

Wineries are great to visit; Seven Mile Beach is 20 minutes away; Gerroa with the Crooked River estuary is ideal for children; Fitzroy Falls is 20 minutes and there are many walks to take advantage of the spectacular scenery.

Jervis Bay and the Southern Highlands are 45 minutes pleasant drive.

Excellent getaway!!

The property was perfect for our stay! Toasty warm and had everything we needed. The full breakfast provided was awesome with the fresh bread daily!

Fabulous place in a stunning location

The property is a fully equipped and spacious property located in a beautiful mountain setting. Liked the beautiful gardens with the Alpacas, and that we could bring our dog. Breakfast provisions were of good quality with both eggs/bacon and bread/ good choice of jams. DVD player with a few classics to choose was a plus. Close to Berry and easy contact and instructions from host. We’ll come back in summer to enjoy the terrace attached to the property!

Spacious stay in quiet and comfortable cottage

Our small family of 5 adults and our precious cannine enjoyed our get together here, playing the pianola and enjoying meals together around the fireplace. Three bedrooms, two decks, two toilets and a gorgeous bathroom suited us well. Beds and lounges are very comfortable. Cooking facilities and beautiful breakfast supplied by Glenys were much appreciated as was the space for playing ball. Glenys is a lovely and considerate host and provided relevant information on the local area. We enjoyed visiting the busy Berry village on a busy Easter weekend.

Our stay at The loft

Very nice accommodation very comfortable. The only problem was trying to find your accommodation If you could get tour place to show on the map apps and also to have more visible signage on both sides of the enterance gate. Parking facility was great so is your location. Would also be nice if there were washing up detergent and sponges or cloths for cleaning dishes Was a lovely stay. Thank you. Regards Brian
