Located the the heart of Mission Hills. Gorgeous complete remodel with laminate wood floors, recessed lighting. New stainless steel appliances with stone countertops and tile floor. Corner condo with pleasant canyon views and breezes. King size orthopedic bed and flat panel TV in the bedroom. HD flat panel TV in living room. All the dishes and linens you would need. This is a non smoking property located in a quiet neighborhood designed for quiet guests. There is an assigned parking space but also ample parking available on the street. There are also laundry services available..
Everything we needed for our 2-month stay, including shampoo, laundry detergent, dish detergent, tp, bags for the grocery store, plenty of towels,... A gift of wine, cheese, crackers, and fruit, and we were able to settle right in the first day without having to rush around trying to find something to tide us over after our flight from the east coast. Easy walking distance to library, several coffee shops, restaurants, grocery store plus walking/biking distance to much more. The garage space is a definite plus in San Diego!
We enjoyed a delightful stay in the home of Nancy Hughes. We write 'home' and not just 'condo' because she has created a wonderful, warm and charming residence for anyone staying in her unit. Above all, she provided everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Perhaps the highlight was the way she welcomed us and provided initial baskets of foodstuffs and wine that went more than the 'extra yard'.
It has been a first class experience.

Nancy had everything that I needed for my stay including a garage. I loved being in Mission Hills and I walked a lot and found new places I didn't know of.
Although I actually never met Nancy in person, all our phone conversations were great! She's very friendly and accommodating during my month-long stay. Her property was beautiful and so central to all the restaurants and such in Mission Hills, Hillcrest and downtown San Diego! Especially for someone who just moved out here. I would definitely stay here again.
Our stay at this property was great. The condo is perfect for 2 people. The photos do not do it justice. Updated kitchen, large living room, comfortable bed, and amazing shower with a great view of the canyon next door! Nancy really took care of us, she had fresh fruit, snacks and a bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival. She gave us a tour of the property which was really helpful. Other perks are free laundry, a large 1 car garage with tandem parking for a second car, and great restaurants within a 2 block radius. We had a great stay here and it was really fun to explore the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend staying here!
My wife and I were in town for a convention and needed a place to stay that was both nice, safe and wouldn't break the bank. This place was everything we were looking for. It's very clean and charming. Though there was no AC it wasn't needed since there is that nice canyon breeze that kept us cool. The owner, Nancy, was extremely affable and easy to work with. She allowed us to check in early. Big plus since we were coming from the East Coast and appreciated the convenience of settling into the place for a quick rest. Much more room than a hotel but not so large as a rental. Just the right size. Excellent location to everything we needed. We had a rental car and great not having to pay for nightly parking. By car we were literally less than 10 minutes to the Convention Center and the nearby restaurants in the Hillcrest district was a bonus for dinner. There is a Starbucks at the end of the street for my coffee fix. Nice little walk in the morning.
Check out was just as easy as check in. Nancy allowed us to check out later since our flight was in the latter part of the afternoon. I can't say enough nice things about the owner and the place. If we come back we are definitely going to rent again.
In the heart of Mission Hills, only 2 blocks to dining. Very centrally located in the city, but a quiet neighborhood. Minutes away from historic Old Town, Hillcrest, Balboa Park, Zoo , Little Italy, and the downtown gaslamp area. 10 minutes from beaches, Sea World, airport. Swimming and tennis is available at Morley Field in Balboa Park. Great freeway access to 5 and 8 and 163.
