Your great holiday escape is 7 kms south of Batemans Bay, with shops and other beaches in close proximity. Batemans Bay is 3-4 hours drive south of Sydney and 1.5 hours drive east of Canberra or Goulburn.
As an absolute beachfront 1970s home, it is only a stone's throw (15 metres) from Surf Beach with wide beach and clifftop views. A few steps provide immediate direct access onto the beach. The safe shallow beach is sheltered by rocky headlands, with good sized surf most afternoons. Watch the dolphins play from the home or beach, or enjoy a short stroll along the beach and around the headland to popular Denhams Beach or Wimbie Beach. Several neighbouring beaches will delight you with big surf for the adventurous or quieter waters for young children.
The space for rental is an inviting 80m OPEN PLAN UNIT which sleeps 4 ADULTS. It is a completely separate private space underneath the beachfront home, with its own key. It has its own lounge room, kitchen, dining and bathroom. The huge bedroom space has a comfortable queen-size bed and a single bed, with a second single bed in the lounge room.
BEDS ARE ALREADY MADE UP - all you need to do to enjoy your holiday is to arrive and kick off your shoes. Linen and towels are included in the accommodation charge. Laundry service is available during your stay, if required, at no additional cost.
The ground floor access throughout the open plan space and home makes it perfect for those less mobile, too.
We are also PET FRIENDLY - for well behaved and toilet-trained animals. Two cats of our own live in the upstairs home, so any additional pets must maintain a harmonious home environment for them.
After a relaxing swim and surf, soaking up the sun on the sand, exercising your toes along the beach or walking through nearby bush tracks, you might like to explore other delights of the Batemans Bay area.
Enjoy dinner at one of the many local cafes/restaurants, giving yourself the perfect holiday, or cook your own BBQ out on the patio overlooking the ocean or make an easy meal in your kitchen. An IGA supermarket is only 200m from the home.
Try one of the many fabulous gourmet restaurants, catch a cruise up the Clyde River or try your hand at fishing off the beach, visit weekend foody and craft markets at Moruya and/or Batehaven, visit local art galleries, play golf, go jetskiing, visit the Mogo zoo and arty shopping precinct, go horse-riding in the bush, watch your kids at the skateboard park, or catch a movie at the town cinema. A wealth of suggestions await you!
