Peacefully located villa set in its own beautifully maintained gardens with private pool and barbecue area. Plenty of room for outside dining. 10 minute walk to Praia da Luz beach, with water sport activity. Ideal location for golfers - 10 minutes to Parque de Floresta and 5 minutes to Boavista. Tastefully furnished, 3 bedrooms, suitable for up to 6 people with 2 twin bedrooms and 1 double which has an en-suite bathroom. Two bedrooms open out onto the front garden terrace area. Large private pool and garden area to the rear of the villa equiped with garden table, chairs and 6 sun loungers. Located upstairs is a large lounge and dining area with fully fitted kitchen and separate toilet.. Balcony complete with patio furniture and 2 sun loungers with beautiful south facing views towards the sea which attracts the sun all day.

Fabulous Home

The property was as listed, in fact even better in reality ...Superb home which was very tastefully furnished and decorated, Very clean also. Great sense of space throughout, the en Suite bedroom was very big and other two twin bedrooms also very adequate. Lovely terrace .

Lots of nice little extras, Some Cds, DVD player, CD player, freeview tv, Wifi etc.

Outside area is very well maintained, pool looked lovely but we weren't brave enough to try it out in December

Kitchen was so well equipped, fully stocked with decent glassware, crockery, cutlery and cookware..

Good communication with the owner and the directions to the property and access arrangements were good

Lovely area, I would say it is not suited for anyone looking for a hectic party time but totally suited our party of 2 59 yr olds, son 30, daughter and partner 29 ,

Lots of great places to explore, we had a car which was great but the nearest village of Luz is only 8 mins walk from the village which has some nice restaurants and bars ( quite a lot were closed over the Christmas period)

Lovely beach at Burgau which is about 8 mins drive away, we also went to Sagres (the most South westerly point in Europe, some lovely cliff views there)

One hours drive from Faro Airport villa

Only negative side to our trip was that two of our party became ill, one with flu, he was due to go home few days before the others but had to book a new flight home as was unable to get out of bed, the other had abscess on tonsil and was treated extremely well by DocLuz private doctor in Luz village.

Otherwise was a fantastic trip and we would highly recommend this villa to anyone enjoying a relaxing time in comfortable in this area

Perfect with kids

We stayed for one week at this well placed villa in a quiet part of town, but within very easy walking distance of the centre and shops, beach etc. Was perfect for our two and half yr old and 3 month old baby.

Toddler loved the pool and it was v refreshing on those hot days. Villa is well equipped and spacious. Outside area is lovely. Terrace was great for letting kids play inside in the cool or watch tv while we caught some more sun. tV had lfreeview channels inc CBeebies so kids happy! Shutters for windows were great for letting in some air at night while feeling safe. As others had said, hot water is very hot! We didn't hire a car as we intended to stay local but did get to Lagos on the bus (v easy) one day. Thanks for a lovely stay!

A lovely well equipped villa

Our first visit to Luz, loved the area and the villa. Great location, slightly out from the busy centre but with sea views from the sunny front balcony and an easy short walk to town and the beach. The villa itself is very well equipped and comfortable and we spent a few hot afternoons just lounging by the pool and in the garden. I'm sure we'll be back for another trip and don't hesitate to recommend. I also found the communication from the owners to be quick and very helpful

A Gem of a Villa in an ideal location

We had a fabulous stay at this superb villa. The weather for our month's stay was generally very good but with a cool wind at times.

We cannot fault this villa with its spacious but cosy interior and excellent garden, swimming pool and surrounding area.

The villa was immaculate on our arrival, is very well equipped with everything we required.

We were there in the winter yet the villa was warm in the cool evenings thanks to the gas fuelled log fire and the electric oil filled portable radiators.

The front balcony is great for alfresco dining having the sun nearly all day.

The shops, restaurants and the beach are all within walking distance from this ideally situated villa.

We had some excellent days out especially exploring the fantastic West Coast to our favourite place at Monte Clerigo. There is also a lovely coastal to Burgau.

This was our second year at this villa and there are still plenty of new places to visit and enjoy.

Thanks again Sue for the use of your villa which was our winter retreat for the month and we hope to return in future.

We would highly recommend this villa.

A useful base to explore the Western Algarve

My wife and I chose to rent this house so we could spend some time visiting the Western Algarve whilst escaping the UK winter. The accommodation can sleep 6 so there was more than enough space for the two of us. On our arrival we were very impressed with the level of cleanliness of the property.

The house is relatively modern, situated in a crescent of similar properties. The three bedrooms on the ground floor are large with plenty of storage. Our bed was thankfully firm and linens were of a good standard. The en-suite attached to the master bedroom had a very powerful shower although care is advised when regulating the water temperature – it could cause harm if set too high. Upstairs the open plan living / dining area room had two comfortable settees and a flat screen TV (internet TV with free view UK channels and Premiership football with Danish commentary!) with some occasional tables. There is a round extendable table and wooden dining chairs. The kitchen has a full sized hob and oven. There is a good sized fridge / freezer, as well as a full sized-dishwasher and washing machine. All the appliances we used worked well although they show signs of wear. There was ample crockery and cutlery to justify the efficient use of the dishwasher. The wi-fi was very effective. Externally, there is a large, beautifully landscaped garden to the rear. We were not sufficiently brave to attempt use of the pool in January.

We were lucky to have so much sunshine during the days but evenings soon became chilly. The house is equipped with four oil-filled radiators which were put to good use. Unfortunately, although there is a gas fire, its glass window had been broken by previous guests. Although we were advised that it was safe to use, we chose not to do so just in case. We feel that this should be repaired as a matter of urgency to make the property more comfortable during the winter months. There were other issues but when reported to the owners, they were rectified with impressive efficiency by the property management company.

Praia da Luz is an attractive community geared to the needs of tourism. We visited many of the local beaches. Each has its charms – we liked Salema in particular. Many restaurants were closed making eating out something of a challenge – only to be expected this time of year.

Lote 5c

Lote 5c is a large clean well equipped spacious villa which is set in a quiet area. All the rooms are light & airy. We found the large balcony superb for alfresco dining. The good sized well kept secluded garden is perfect for total relaxation & the large pool is a welcome for a refreshing dip. All the amenities are within easy reach, supermarkets, the beach & an assortment of bars & restaurants that should suit most tastes. The owners are very helpful. Hope to stay again.

Situated in the western Algarve the villa is located in a peaceful area just 10 minutes walk from the centre of the village and its beach, restaurants and supermarkets. Other beaches and the village of Burgau are just 5-10 minutes drive. The stylish and historical town of Lagos and its marina and many restaurants is only 6km drive. For golf enthusiasts Parque de Floresta and Boavista golf resorts are both less than 10 minutes drive away.
