Sandy Point house light & bright & pets allowed.
Lovely cheerful house & secure yard for our dog. Didn’t matter that the weather wasn’t good, lovely fireplace to chill out & do some quiet reading.
Thanks Nanette, kids had a great time.
A truly PET friendly house
We have stayed here on numerous occasions with 4 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs. Fits us perfectly. A fenced yard for the dogs (and kids) with dogs also being allowed inside which is a big plus for us. Trampoline is a favourite for the kids. Walking distance to beach and shops. Clean house with comfy beds. Great stay every time. Owner is always super helpful. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful holiday in Nan's fantastic houze
It is extremely well equipped and comfortable, highly recommended
A great house in a beautiful part of the world.
A very cosy place to spend a winter weekend. The house is very clean and comfortable and Sandy Point is a stunning place for walks and water sports and it’s close to Wilson’s Prom.
The property was extremely clean and so well equipped, everything had been thought of including kids play area with toys. Walking distance to the beach and general store. Unfortunately during our stay there was a TIGER SNAKE in the garden touching distance from the decking! The owner called a snake catcher but by the time he arrived it had gone, the owner never called us to check we were ok later that day or during anytime afterwards So if you have a dog or children be aware!
Hello Dawn, I'm so sorry you had this experience with the tiger snake in the garden on top of some reeds. It is the first time a snake has been seen on the property since I have owned it. It was unfortunate the snake had slithered away in the short time the snake catcher took to arrive however I spoke extensively with him afterwards and he said that he had a good chat to your family when he was there at the house. Basically he said that this season was bad for snakes, and he thought they may live in the neighbouring properties in vegetation and large woodpiles. He said that it is important to be able to see them, as they are everywhere. I am having the vegetation on the property cleared at ground level to facilitate seeing snakes if they are there. Thank you for letting me know and in my conversations with my husband I made sure to say to let me know if anything else was amiss, and to take extra care. My apologies for not re-contacting you after the snake catcher left as I thought everything was in hand. As always, it is really important to be vigilant in the country in Australia, wherever you go and I will make a specific note to guests in future regarding snakes. It is particularly important to supervise small children as a general rule from wandering into areas of the property behind sheds or around woodpiles.
