Spacious first floor apartment with fantastic views within the complex

This apartment is not a holiday rental unit. It is a residential unit that we temporarily rent . The complex has 3 community pools, including a children pool, and a poolside bar for breakfast, snacks, meals and drinks.

The apartment itself is located in one of the corners of the complex. It has been renewed and refurnished in 2007 (new doors, windows, floor, furniture, kitchen and full bathroom). It has the nicest views in the complex as it looks to different pool sides. It has one bathroom and 2 bedrooms, one has access to the large terrace of the apartment and the other with a balcony and a couple of windows. The sitting-room is really bright as it has a large glass corner door with access to the terrace ad high ceilings with beams. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, toaster, kettle, 4 ring stove, fridge, cooking and eating utensils. Terrace has a clothes airier, a table and chairs for 8 people. Self service laundry in the complex. Safety box available at extra cost

Internet: There is internet access in the pool bar.

There is a pool table near the bar.

'Playa Fañabe' can also be a great place to find a job or to start a business as there is a lot of comercial activity around. Business activity grows for example in 'Puerto Colon', a marina port just 700 metres from the complex. Also business in the area such as Theme parks, hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, and commercial centers are looking for managers and medium grade workers to be part of the their qualified staff. Thus, we would also like to offer our place to these people looking for an accomodation close to their jobs . LONG TERM RENTALS ARE WELCOME.

  • The apartment has 2 separate bedrooms. 1st bedroom: 2 twin beds that can be pushed together, high ceiling with nice view through large door to the terrace. fitted wardrobe included. 2nd bedroom: 2 twin beds that can be pushed together, ceiling fan, balcony and another window. fitted wardrobe included. Another 2 twin beds underneath. All beds stay at same level. All beds are high quality spring mattresses (190x90 cm) included the sofa bed (200 x 140 cm). We pay special attention to comfort. Living room has also high ceilings which make it bigger than other apartments. It has a double sofa-bed which can sleep 2 adults, and sit 5 people. Sofa-bed has a thick spring mattress, nothing to compare with regular sofa-beds.There is also a coffee table, standing fan,standing lamp, TV with satellite cable with English, Spanish, German, French, and Russian channels. There is also an independent TV decoder for English channels BB1, BBC2, ITV, CH4, CH5, sport CH at extra cost.

A very nice apartment with high ceilings and beams, very open outside views thanks to its unique location within the complex. Rooms are really spacious (one room fits 4 beds). The complex is very tranquil and safe. There are all night security people working in the complex. A safety box is installed in the apartment but you need a magnetic activator from the owner. A cot if needed can also be arranged with the owner for week amount. Terrace is the best place to stay in this apartment. Sunny most of the day (from 10:00 am), very large, with seats and tables for 8 people. It has a large terrace awning that covers it all over . Key has to be picked up from the Key box or you will meet someone who will show you the apartment and give you the key . At your departure you will give back the key to this person after check out.

Just adequate

Having read previous reviews of this apartment we were looking forward to our stay.However, once the apartment was booked with Manuel he did not answer our emails particularly when we transferred the balance which was a considerable amount as we were staying a month.After several emails asking him to confirm receipt of the money paid by bank transfer to his account it took a phone call to contact him for him to acknowledge receipt. We found this quite concerning especially as you here of many apartment scams. The location of the apartment is perfect , close to good restaurants, supermarket, taxi rank and beaches. However we found the apartment to be a bit tired. The bathroom could do with renovating. The connector that changes the bath taps to the showerhose did not work, so to fil lthe bath you hand to stand with the shower hose to do it which was very annoying and took ages. The sofa in the lounge was the only seating area and was so uncomfortable that we both could not sit on it. It was a sofa bed which was very deep and therefore if you sat back your legs couldnt bend to the floor and if you sat forward the seat part dipped to touch the floor. The most uncomfortable sofa ever and we were staying for a month. There was only one sun lounger and that was split where your bottom would be. When we booked Manuel offered us some extras ie. washing machine, safe, british tv, air conditioning. he said he would throw in the british tv as we were staying a month . We declined the extras as the prices seemed very high and we felt they should have been included in the rent. However when we got there the washing machine, safe, etc were all there to be used and we are so glad we did not pay the extra for them as we felt this was a complete con. The last week we were there the complex turned into a building site. Noisy machinery all day. The pool was closed off and was being renovated and all the walkways to the apartments were being relaid. Manuel as an owner must have had prior notice of this but we were not informed.We have videos and photos to show how bad it was and probably still is as the work looks as though it will be going on for several weeks. So overall we were disappointed with the apartment and have had much better Tenerife apartments for less rental.

lovely holiday

The apartment was exactly what we expected from the description. Everything worked perfectly and it was very clean and well equipped. The location within the park is nice and quiet but the pool area is only visible from the end of the balcony. The only criticism I would have is that I thought it was a bit tight charging so much for the use of the safe, after all it uses no electric to run and surely there is no up keep! We would have felt safer had we had the use of this.

Yukka Park itself is a beautiful and well kept park, it has a lovely pool area that is all immaculately maintained and child friendly. The on site café serves simple but nice food and the reception staff were helpful too.

The Park is located just far enough away from shops and cafe's so its less than 5 minutes walk to eat and there is a taxi collection point 50yards from the complex door.

All in all its a fab place and I would recommend it!

Great holiday apartment

This is a really roomy apartment and was more than adequate for our family of five adults. The balcony area is great for eating and drinks, catching the morning and evening breeze. We loved it! It is well equipped and in a perfect location. Although it doesn't have air con, there is a ceiling fan in the second bedroom and the vaulted ceilings in the lounge and master bedroom, plus balcony doors make this apartment airy in the Tenerife temperatures. We have stayed in other apartments at Yucca Park that had a contemporary style, but this apartment has a more traditional style, as shown in the photographs. Yucca Park is accessible to many bars and restaurants, there is a taxi rank and supermarket just yards away from the complex, but we were never bothered by any noise, the complex is a little gem! We can't wait to return.

immaculate apartment

We have stayed in this apartment 3 times now and it has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. Manuel and his family are lovely and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Yucca Park is small and very handy for everything you need . Just booked it for next year again. DEREK

Ideal place to stay

This is a great apartment, good sized has all you need for a self catering holiday! Clean and tidy facilities well maintained, andy and Sue at the pool bar are great hosts! Only down side is no air con or I wld be giving 5 star!

Lovely apartment

This is a lovely clean, well situated apartment. It has everything you could need for a self catering break. The balcony in particular is a great place to relax. Never a problem getting a sunbed around the pool. Manuel was always quick to reply to any queries. Would definitely recommend the apartment and will stay her again on our next trip to Fanabe.

Yucca Park complex is located in the middle of Playa de Fañabe, Costa Adeje, just 150 meters from the sand beach. It is just beside Playa de las Americas. The area is covered with all kind of facilities, such as hairdresser, pharmacy, schools and supermarkets. It also has bars, restaurants, shopping centers, and even a local market on Thursdays and Saturday, . All around the complex, there are many 5 star hotels such as 'Jardines de Nivaria', 'Anthelia Park',or 'Bahia del Duque'. There is a hospital in the area and a bus station quite close. There are several facilities for young and elder people in the area such as a marina port called 'Puerto Colon', a Bowling, two golf courses in the area and a water theme park for children.

The apartment is very convenient for people working in the area, as well as for those looking for a break.For those looking for a long let, there is a Laundry place about 200 metres from the complex.
