Welcome to our home! With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, family room with large fireplace, and a huge loft, it has the space (nearly 4,000 square feet), and the amenities to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The large master bedroom has a king size pillow top bed, large closet, and private entrance from outside. The guest room has a king size pillow top bed. The third bedroom has 2 twin size bunk beds (4 beds). The master bath has a large jetted tub, and a shower with dual shower heads. The kitchen has dual ovens, a convection stove top, microwave, large island that seats 6 to 10, side by side refrigerator, dishwasher, and much more. The loft is over 1,500 square feet. If you bring sleeping bags, you can sleep 40. This is a great area for the kids to play, to have meetings, and much more. A large capacity Washer and Dryer are on site. Large wood burning fireplace. The view of the Paunsagaunt Plateau is tremendous. Star Gazing at its best.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Our home is the perfect place to call home while you explore and enjoy the many sights of Southern Utah. It is central to Bryce Canyon, Zion Canyon, Grand Canyon North Rim, Capital Reef, The Grand Staircase National Monument, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Lake Powell, Panguitch Lake and so much more. Hiking, Biking, Hunting, Fishing, ATV Riding, Horseback Riding are all out our front door. Our home is located one block off Scenic Highway 89. It is quiet and beautiful. The views are spectacular. The view of the pink cliffs during sunset is amazingly beautiful. We frequently see many types of wildlife out our front door. Deer often graze on our lawn. Blue Ribbon Fly Fishing is a short walk away. The amenities of our home are perfect for the a romantic getaway or an adventurous excursion. Larger groups and families with children will also love the space in our home. Our home was designed so families and friends could enjoy one another with large open spaces. Our home has hosted Weddings and Wedding Receptions, Family Reunions, Christmas Parties, Corporate Getaways, and much more. We love our home and are sure you will also. The mountain views off the large covered deck are unmatched. Our home is accessible year round. During the summer the morning mountian air is crisp and clean. The days are warm and comfortable. During the winter snow is common. World class hunting surrounds our home. The Paunsagaunt Plateau is home of some of the largest Mule Deer and Elk in the world. Fishing is fantastic on the Sevier River or at Panguitch Lake. The town of Panguitch is just 15 miles away. You can enjoy the many festivals offered there throughout the year including the Balloon Festival. Whether you are a photographer or hunter, hiker or mountain biker, bird watcher or fisherman, this is your paradise. The great outdoors are out your door. The national parks are nearby, but you will be out of the crowds and commercial areas so commonly found next to the parks.
Clean and New: We built our home in 2009. It was our dream home. However we were blessed with an opportunity to relocate to Alaska and work with family. But we could not part with our home. Instead we are sharing it with you. We return often and love reading about the experiences of others who have enjoyed our home. When you stay in our home, we invite you to read others experiences and share your own in a journal we keep and share.
I was born and raised in Hatch. I grew up here. I taught elementary school here for 15 years. Hatch is my home. My husband operated several businesses in the area including a tour company, motel, restaurants, and retail stores. He thouroughly enjoyned sharing the scenic wonders which surround our home. The Parks have been our second home for many years. We love the outdoors. We enjoy hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing, ATV riding, horseback riding, star gazing and so much more. Several of our children have developed hobbies of photographing the natural wonders of the ares. My husband and I built our dream home with our family in mind. We have 8 children and 2 grandchildren. We truly expected this to be our final home, but an opportunity in Alaska has taken us away. We are very pleased to offer our home to you.

The property where our home sits has been in my family for generations. My ancestors were some of the original settlers in Hatch. I grew up in Hatch exploring the mountains, and swiming in the river. My parents still live in Hatch as do several of my siblings. My husbands family settled in Wayne County, home of Capital Reef National Park. We both love the rural setting and the freedoms of the outdoors. We are honored to have been blessed to be allowed to build our dream home on a piece of property that is sentimental and special to us.
We designed our home to fit the natural beauty of the area around us. The large log supports, large exposed wooden beams, solid wood flooring, solid wood doors, granite counter tops, rock fireplace, log banisters and railing, combine to give our home a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. We also installed an in-earth heat pump which is very environmentally friendly.
Great trip & great place to stay! We will definately be back. There is so much to see and I was blown away by what God can do with dirt & rocks. We loved the hiking. Cedar Breaks was beautiful. I think I said "WOW" and "Beautiful" about 4,000 times this trip. My husband and brother-in-law took approximately 400 pictures a day, but none of them do it justice. Can't wait to come back when we have more time.
This cabin is a must. Everything you need is included in this home. The owner was delightful to correspond with. The home was clean and comfortable. The area was as sweet as it could have been. We loved everything. If you're thinking about renting this wonderful cabin, stop thinking and just rent it. You're welcome... lol :)
We love the place, very beautiful, well maintained and spacious. If there's one suggestion the owner can do is to atleast make it disabled/wheelchair accessible.
Zion, Bryce, Cedar Breaks, Antelope Canyon - we were astonished at the beauty we saw using this house as a base. The house was inviting and everything worked well. Two of the bedrooms were great, the third had two sets of bunk beds in kind of tight arrangement - which would work great for kids. The loft is a huge open space with sofas, tv, football and space that is virtually unlimited. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating.
Enjoy the week with a group of girls exploring Bryce Canyon and surrounding areas. Great locations and plenty of space.
Our family of seven truly enjoyed our stay in this part of the country, and this wonderful home was a great base camp for us. It was nice to have some room to spread out after being cramped in the car all day long on our many day trips, in this beautifully appointed house was the perfect place for our five children to decompress and play. The owners were ultra responsive and we couldn't recommend this place more highly.
Hatch is a small, quiet town (approximately 200 people) located on Scenic Highway 89. It is approximately 20 miles from Bryce Canyon, 40 Miles from Zions Canyon, 125 Miles from Grand Canyon, 125 Miles from Lake Powell. There are 3 restaurants, 1 gas station / C-store, all within walking distance from our home. Our home is located near the Sevier River which is a Blue Ribbon Fly Fishing River, with Rainbow and Brook Trout. Brian Head Ski Resort is approximately 40 miles away. Panguitch Lake is a short 20 minute drive on dirt road, or 45 minute drive on paved roads. Hatch is nestled in the middle of the Dixie National Forest, making it a perfect location for all your outdoor adventures; including: ATV Riding, Horseback Riding, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Hunting, Fishing, Snowmobile Riding, and much more. Our home is on one of the main trails which lead you to these scenic areas.

Cancellations & Refunds: over 45 days prior to arrival, full refund. 30 to 45 days prior to arrival, 50% refund. Less than 30 days prior to arrival a refund of any cleaning fees and Security Deposit, but loss of rental fees; however, if we are able to re-rent any or all of the days reserved, we will refund a proportionate amount of the rental fees, less a $75 administrative fee.
