The house is very comfortable, with modern furnishings, a combined kitchen and sitting room upstairs, complete with a large open fireplace and a deck looking onto the beach and river. Downstairs is another sitting room with a deck going onto to an enclosed garden. With 4 bedrooms, there is plenty of room and perfect for a large family or ideal for couples to share.
As the garden is secure the house is pet friendly.
At the house you will find golf clubs and tennis rackets (There are tennis courts across the road.)
There is a ping-pong table in the garage and large back yard which is great for backyard cricket.

Situated in Peterborough, the house is right in the middle of all the major attractions on The Great Ocean Road. Walking distance to the main beach, tennis courts and golf course, shops and pub.
One of the best kept secrets on the Great Ocean Road, Peterborough is an unspoilt litle village placed between the spectacular Twelve Apostles to the East and The Bay of Martyrs to the West.
There are spectacular cliff walks West towards the Bay of Martyrs, as well as exploring the end of The Great Ocean walk just east of the 12 Apostles.
There is a seaside golf course, a picnic area beside Curdies River, and plenty of fishing opportunities in the river and sea.
Further afield, Warnambool, the biggest town in the Western Districts, has a fine Maritime Museum and an adventure playground. About 20 mins away is Timboon, which has a supermarket and butcher. Here you can pick your own strawberries or visit the Timboon Cheese Factory. There are also vineyards and farms in the areas that welcome visitors.
Peterborough is a small, tranquil, low-key fishing and holiday resort of about 200 people situated on the western side of the Curdies River estuary which forms a broad inlet behind the town. Peterborough is located on the Great Ocean Road 247 km south-west of Melbourne between Port Campbell (13 km to the east) and Warrnambool (53 km to the west). On the eastern side of the river mouth is Port Campbell National Park and on the western side of Peterborough is the Bay of Islands Coastal Park. Both are characterised by sheer limestone cliffs, offshore islands, towering rock stacks, gorges, arches, blowholes and other striking rock formations.
