About this property

Armytage House is a converted sandstone barn set in a large private garden. Spacious with quality furnishings, a well equipped kitchen, timber and polished concrete floors, spa bath, comfortable beds, plenty of books and dvd's, it's the perfect base for your holiday.

Located at Bagdad on the Midland Highway, it is an easy drive to Hobart, Salamanca, MONA, (our stunning new museum), surrounding wineries and heritage towns.

With two bedrooms, both with queen beds the house is ideally suited to one or two couples.

Not suitable for small children.
If two people require the second bed there is a one off charge of $60.

Fantastic centre to explore

A lovely very well kept house with a big garden provided a fantastic centre to explore southern Tasmania. Friendly helpful hosts made it a very enjoyable stay and the surprise is the abundant wildlife. Explore the garden, keep your eyes open, and be quiet to see the best wildlife.

Great house

Enjoyed our stay. The converted grainery is very well done, high end finishing and very spacious. The surrounding rural property is beautiful - enjoyed the pond and trees. Residents include a pair of pademelons and a very proud looking chicken.

Great place to stay

We would highly recommend a stay in this property. The gardens are beautiful and full of wildlife. We would definitely book another holiday at Armytage house.
