Large 3 Bedroom Apartment in centre of Zell am See 350 metres to main ski lift

Duplex penthouse (top 2 floors of building), 1075 square foot (100 square metre) apartment and 30 square metre balcony with breathtaking mountain and lake views. This picture was taken from the living room. Parking for one car in basement. Furnished to very high standard. Probably the best apartment available to rent in Zell.

When I saw the views of both the frozen lake and the snow filled mountains with the gondolas moving up and down I was mesmerized. The Apartment was lovely .. probably the best holiday I have had to date. The skiing conditions were perfect and the location of the apartment was a bonus as we didn't have to travel far for anything.

We had a great holiday. The apartment is in a very good location. Upstairs is very tastefully finished and it was a pleasure to spend time during the day & evening in it. Thanks once again.

The nearest ski lift is 150 metres with the main lift from the town (City Express) 300 metres away. Bus station that brings skiers to cable cars at foot of Schmittenhohe mountain or to Kaprun or other adjacent skiing areas is 200 metres from apartment. Apartment is 50 metres from pedestrian zone in Zell am See. Substantial 300 square foot (c. 30 square metre) balcony. Wooden surface with underfloor heating to melt snow. Table and 4 chairs. Large sliding doors on front and rear of living room provides easy access to balcony. Apartment is heated by multi zoned underfloor heating. Safe provided for guests use (though no liability accepted for items stored in it). Property is two storey but distance from parking space to entrance is less than 20 metres and lift brings guests directly to apartment entrance. There are two 18 hole championship golf courses just five minutes away by car or 10 minutes by bus. Lake Zell is a stone's throw from apartment

Comfortable and central appartement

We really enjoyed our stay in Michael O'Hara's appartement during our winterholidays. We were 8 persons - 4 adults and 4 children. We had plenty of space, good bedrooms and a very good sitting- and diningroom upstairs. We had all we might need. Everything worked perfectly and everything in the city was only a few steps away. We were in walking distance from the lift, very nice.

We are coming back again next year - it's very recommendable.

We're stayed one week with 8 people (6 adults and 2 childeren) in the appartment. Never had the feeling it was to full, more than enough space for 8 people.

The beds are ok, the showers are nice. Only cooking was a little bit a problem because it's induction :) and normaly we didn't use that, but after a few days we're learn how to cook.

We're really enjoy are stay. If we going with a lot of people again we going back and we're really recommend this appartment

Lovely! Summer 2012

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at Zell am See. The unit is well maintained & decorated. We enjoyed all the amenities that were available. Klaus, the property manager was very easy to work with & professional. He was also very responsive to our needs. Wed definitely recommend this place if you are vacationing in the area especially if you are traveling with a group of people.

The Perfect Stay

There was eight of us travelled over to Zell Am See for a weeks holiday in January 2011. We have been to Zell Am See before but never had stayed in Haus O'Hara... Everything was top class, from the central location to the breathtaking views over the lake and mountain from the main living area!

The apartment itself is well equipped with everything you could ask for... A home away from home with no cost spared! It slept the eight of us very comfortably and the ski locker in the basement was very useful so we weren't dragging skis / snowboards / boots etc. any further than ground floor!

Another plus side was that the communication was top notch.. Even when we were over there, Michael's property manager looked after everything for us if we had any problems!

We will be going back to Zell next year and without a doubt we will be staying in this apartment! Thanks for all your help Michael!

Super nice appartement in Zell am See

Just returned from a lovely week in Zell am See. The apartment was the best I have ever hired. New, clean and tastefully furnished and equipped. It contained everything we needed. The view from the apartment is really something special: both the mountains and lake. beautiful.

You can walk to the ski lifts, shops, restaurants, lake and train station within 5-10 minutes.

Only one thing, we would have liked because we lived in the skiing season: A place to dry our wet clothes.

Luxary family aprtment Zell em See, Austria

For a first time experince of a winter holiday excellent! Apt had everything and more. Certainly will be returning to both Zell and Mr O'Hara's apartment. Highly recommended. Bonus of an on hand Representative who proved to be reliable and knowledgable. Suggestion: we got confused with key collection point.

Stay tax £0.93 per night, per person. This amount will be due to the owner upon arrival. Does not apply to children under 15 years.
Tax Rate 13.0%

A Security Deposit of €500 is payable in cash on arrival to my property manager who looks after the house and the guests. Visitor Tax (Kurtax) of €1.05 per head per night (for those over 15 years of age) is payable to Austrian authorities together with a Cleaning Charge of €150 (includes bed linen, towels and soap). Visitor Tax and the Cleaning Charge are deducted from the Security Deposit with the balance due paid to you in cash on departure.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
