Beautiful four bedroomed loch side bungalow. In a beautiful rural position and only minutes away from shops, restaurant and pubs with the facilities you would expect from the 'outdoor capital of the UK'. Tastefully decorated with large sitting room with open fire, flat screen LCD digital TV and DVD with small library of films. Large picture window with fantastic open views of Loch Leven and surrounding mountains. Fully equipped kitchen with large dining area with seating for eight, dishwasher, cooker/hob, fridge, freezer and microwave. Utility room with washing machine. Luxury family bathroom with bath with shower over, toilet and hand basin. One of the four bedrooms has a double bed and modern en-suite shower room. One twin bedded room, one double bedded room, and one room with bunk beds. With large gardens and parking for three cars.

Our week at Bennachie.

We've had a very pleasant stay at Bennachie. The house was warm and welcoming as we arrived, also well maintained. The kitchen was clean and very comfortable. The dishwasher did his job in a much better way then our own at home! Even with our company of 8 people there was room enough.

In the near surrounding we've made lovely walks and the boys went climbing several mountains.

We would surely recommend this holliday house to our friends. Actually....I did already!

Beautiful bungalow, perfectly located

We had a great week at Bennachie in Glencoe. The bungalow was perfectly clean and in a good shape. The landlords were very friendly (thanks for the delicious cookies :-)) and provided us with some information about posiible activities nearby. We stayed at Bennachie with six persons and the bungalow was perfect for this amount of people (even though 8 people wouldn't be a problem at all).

We most liked the garden with the Loch side view and the Living room with both Loch side view an a fireplace. Very comfortable.

All in all we would absolutely recommend this property to everyone, who wants to spend their vacation in the scottish highlands!

Lovely property, great location and views.

We have a lovely stay at this property. Views were delightful. Owner was very nice and helpful. House was very well equipped with lots of extra bits like dishwasher powder, tea bags and condiments which was a nice touch, as were the biscuits on arrival. Great location. Would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in this beautiful part of the world.

Surpassed our Expectations

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday, staying at the 'Bennachie' in Invercoe. Glencoe, Scotland.

The cottage exceeded our expectations and supplied us with our every need except the weather but for that we had prepared ourselves.

The location and views could not be faulted and to return from our explorations to a warm cottage and cosy coal fire, was a delight.

We enjoyed our holiday and certainly recommend this cottage for its cleanliness, amenities and location and stunning views, definitely worth its rating.

Relaxing Break

We booked our last minute stay at "Bennachie" the day before arrival. Lynn was very helpful and responded to emails quickly which meant we booked our stay with ease.

On arrival we were impressed with the stunning views and peaceful setting. The bungalow was spacious, modern and very clean. We had our dog with us, so we ate in for all meals (except for a lunch at the Clachaig Inn where dogs are welcome) and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need.

The location is excellent, with several forest walks right at the back door. We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to return, hopefully for a bit longer next time!

Situated 14 miles south of Fort William in spectacular Glencoe. Within a 30 mile radius you will have access to almost 100 Munroes, ice climbing indoor and outdoor, rock climbing indoor and outdoor, mountain biking, skiing, golfing, hill walking, fishing in fact almost all outdoor activities in this huge playground 'the outdoor capital of the uk'. For the history lovers one mile away is the Information centre and exhibition centre for the national trust for Scotland and with easy traveling distance there are castles too many to mention access to the islands of Skye, Mull etc. Wild life watching is in abundance including the resident wood pecker and if you are patient the pine martin may visit your bird table. Just over the road you can access the shingle beach (great for kids to explore) and from the back of the house you have immediate access to the woodland trails of Glencoe Forest and its beautiful hidden lochan.
