Absolute beach frontage, secluded tranquillity, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, fully self contained beach house with direct beach access.

Clovelly is a spacious and comfortable family beach house with extensive living areas inside and out. Set on over 3 acres of fully fenced beachfront bushland with direct views of the Freycinet peninsular and Great Oyster Bay. Nine Mile Beach is a family and dog friendly beach where dogs can run, walk and swim safely without being on a lead.

The nearby township of Swansea is a flat 20 minute walk via the beach (low tide) or a 5 minute drive away where you can stock up at the supermarket, bakery and bottleshop or enjoy the cafes and restaurants.

Bring your own beach towels.

Dolphin Sands is approximately a 1.5 hour drive from Hobart Airport and a 1.5 hour drive from Launceston and is an ideal base to explore Tasmania's East Coast. There are many wineries, cafes and restaurants in the area or just sit back on the deck and enjoy the views and the sound of the ocean at your doorstep.

During the day you can walk, swim, fish, read or simply stay in bed. Once you drive into Clovelly, you will not want to leave. We suggest you bring your provisions with you... however, Swansea is only a 5 minute drive away.


Guest Master Bedroom - Queen size bed with ensuite bathroom and private balcony with views of Great Oyster Bay.

Guest Room - Queen size bed, built in robe, fold out single bed (suitable for child), views of Great Oyster Bay.

Guest Room - 2 Single beds and a set of Bunk beds (total 4 singles) with built in robe.

Full main bathroom with separate bath and shower located on the ground floor

Fully equipped kitchen with Miele dishwasher, electric oven and hotplates, two spacious refrigerators. Large pantry equipped with basics.

Fully equipped separate large laundry.

Open plan lounge and dining room with flat screen TV and DVD player, ceiling fan and reverse cycle air conditioner.

Second lounge room with wood fire heating, flat screen TV, DVD player and Xbox.

Wrap around veranda with large decks on front and back of house.

Kids beach toys provided

Booking Rules:

Minimum stay is 2 nights. Please do not request a single night as refusal may offend.

Maximum number of people is 8

Parties and functions are strictly prohibited. The rental charge is for domestic use and not commercial use. Use contrary to this will result in termination of tenancy and forfeiture of bond.

Early arrival and late departure given whenever possible and at Clovelly on Nine Mile Beach discretion.

All bookings are subject to full Terms and Conditions.

BOND: A security bond of $600 is payable on this property and is not negotiable.

Fab set up and stay.

We had a great stay at Clovelly, could ask fro a better setup for a couple of families. Great space for the kids to explore inside and out, we have never played so may board games! Suzana was fabulous and very accommodating organising extra facilities for us. We will definitely be back and for longer this time.

We recently spent three nights at this beautiful beach house which still felt large even with seven people. The location is perfect and waking up to the stunning view across the bay was just wonderful. The house contains everything you need and with a second lounge room our teenagers were able to have their own space as well. The house is beautiful, very well presented and catered for all our needs but the location had to be one of our favourite features. Direct access to nine mile beach from which you can walk into the town of Swansea in around 20 minutes. We mostly had the beach to ourselves and the views from veranda demanded you relax and rejuvenate. Our stay at the lovely Clovelly went way to fast but we left feeling relaxed and eager to return. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay in this beautiful part of the state and you will certainly enjoy it even further if you choose to base yourself at this amazing beach house. We can’t wait to return.

Great property and perfect location.

We had a very relaxing stay. The property is perfectly located with direct access to a child friendly beach. House is immaculate with well fitted kitchen/appliances and large bedrooms.. We really appreciated the two living areas, one fitted with electronic gear to entertain the children.
