Finca Sa Carrotja has 5 double bedrooms with 4 en-suite. The house has an eat-in kitchen & dining room with interconnecting sitting room. Upstairs there is a 2nd reception room. Facilities include: table-tennis, a pool table, Nintendo Wii, DVD, Hi-Fi, internet & satellite TV with large LCD flat screen. All bedrooms have either roof or garden terraces. The house is centrally heated and is ideal for 2 families.
A large covered terrace, with seating and dining table for 10 overlooks the private swimming pool and is surrounded by countryside with distant sea views. Also within the 3 acre grounds is a luxury artificial grass tennis court.
Located 5 minutes from the nearest beach and within 10 minutes of many other beautiful beaches. Porto Cristo is 5 minutes away and Palma 45 min. There are 4 golf courses in close proximity to the villa and 2 tennis clubs within 10 minutes. Other activities in the area include horse riding, sailing, coastal walks and cycling.
It is the perfect balance between being in a quiet rural location, but with sea views and only a couple of kilometres from the bustle of restaurants, shops and services.
I love swimming in the pool whilst seeing the mountains in the distance and standing on the roof terrace in the mornings, watching the sun rise over the sea.
3 families comprising gran and granddad, 4 other adults and 4 children ranging from 5 months to 5 years.
Massive villa with 5 large and comfortable bedrooms, 4 of which had excellent en suite facilities. the 3 upstairs bedrooms had large balconies with panoramic views over the countryside. The downstairs bedrooms had a garden terrace. The master bedroom (although they were all large) had a huge en suite comprising 2 sinks, a Jacuzzi bath and a walk in shower with both a fixed and flexible shower head. Sanitary fittings throughout the villa were of a high standard, all bedrooms had masses of cupboard and drawer space and the beds were huge and comfortable. On the upper floor spacious landing was a pool table and just off that was a laundry room with washing machine, deep sink and ironing facilities. Lovely thick white fluffy towels and abundant pool towels in every room.
The kitchen was large and well equipped with a table seating all of us.The adjoining double garage (clean as any of the rooms!) had a full size table tennis table and a spare large fridge/freezer for drinks and anything else we were unable to store in the massive unit in the kitchen. Our families were delighted by the espresso machine in the kitchen! The entrance hall was as big as my living room at home with a toilet and sink off it.
The dining room had a table seating 10 comfortably, the living room with sofas for us all. Outside on a covered patio was a table seating 10 and wickerwork sofa and chairs with white outdoor cushions on which to sit with a glass of Rioja or Cava (2 bottles in fridge on arrival).
Outside, in the 3 acres of grounds is a full sized tennis court at the front, a long drive from the secure electric gates with parking for as many vehicles as you are likely to need. At the back, a few metres walk from the covered patio is a good sized swimming pool constantly filtered throughout the day.
It would take too long to list the additional thoughtful equipment throughout the house and garage but included swimming aids and pool toys, tennis racquets, dozens of tennis balls, TV's, DVD player, radios ,books, games, crockery, cutlery and glassware a plenty to cover between dishwasher loads and a large gas barbeque.
The owners have put a great deal of care, thought and expense into this holiday villa, the likes of which we have never experienced in over 30 years of self catering in the UK and France.
Finally, the location and proximity to Porto Cristo, shops, restaurants,
We have just returned from a weeks stay at this luxurious finca, an absolutely stunning place with all your every need met.
Took advantage of everything the finca had to offer, from the pool, tennis court, (and the spare trainers...thank you very much!) pool table, table tennis and basket ball hoop!
Ingo was very attentive and the cleaning staff do a fabulous job, none of our party had a negative thing to say. Loved every moment.
If we did have an "all it lacks" comment, that would be that a mirror to the road outside the gates would not go amiss. Other than that we cannot wait to book a return visit!
Thank you Phillipa and Daniel for allowing us to share the joy of your beautiful home.

Superb accommodation. Having so many facilities - tennis court, ping-pong, pool table, basketball hoop and a beautiful swimming pool - there was never a dull moment! With plenty of space, we never felt on top of each other.
We mostly self catered, which was made effortless by the well equipped kitchen and gas bbq.
Town centre, supermarket and beautiful beaches only a few minutes drive away.
Would love to return!
The property was really well appointed and everything (including a sewing kit when I lost a button) you might need was catered for! We had a mixed group from 20 to 83 and everybody loved the villa. A car is essential for the older traveller but my sons walked into Porto Christo without too much problem. I would recommend this villa highly Its a delight! The pool area is beautifully maintained and the tennis court is perfectly situated and was great fun.
We spent a peaceful and sun-filled week in this beautiful finca and could have happily stayed there for longer.
Our party consisted of 10 people, 5 young (ish) couples who wanted to get away from everyting, and this villa certainly delivered. It is situated perfectly, just far enough to feel secluded, but close enough to shops and amenities to make a quick dash for more wine! Also a stones throw from some gorgeous sandy coves and beaches.
The directions given were perfect, the house was clean and the rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. The holiday highlights were the pool, the tennis court and the large outside veranda that allowed us all to have long relaxed al fresco dinners, cooked on the gas BBQ, and chat into the small hours!
We had intended to explore the island, but found leaving the finca extremely difficult. However, a few couples succeeded in the odd day trip too.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday, cannot recommend highly enough.
We spent two very relaxing weeks in this lovely well-equipped villa. Our party consisted of two families with 4 adults and 6 children ranging from 6-14 years.
The house was within 30 minutes of the airport, easy to find and set in a lovely quiet location near to the bustling port of Porto Cristo. The house itself was extremely clean and comfortable, tastefully decorated with open spacious rooms. The standard of furnishing and equipment throughout the house was very high. We particularly enjoyed eating all our meals outside on the lovely verandah shaded by the most beautiful bougainvillea bushes. There is also a great gas barbeque which made cooking for 10 easy!
The pool and the tennis court are also of a high standard and the children really enjoyed the ping pong table and the pool table. There is also a great selection of films and TV box sets (not that we watched them as we spent al our time outside on the balmy evenings.
The villa is also located near some lovely beaches. We spent sometime exploring the spectacular northern coast walking to some remote beaches. We also visited the local caves on a boat trip rather than by the usual tour of the Caves of Drach.
There is a great deal to do both on the island and at the villa. All in all an excellent holiday.
we spend a wonderful fortnight with our friends at this beautiful finca just out of porto cristo. not only did we relax in the house and at the pool, enjoy the rural area and the nearby villages - we also had lots of fun socializing with our friends and discovering the island. The finca is marvellous with many unique details (like the antic door from imported Goa), fitted well to offer privacy and open space whenever needed.
Thank you for an unforgettable experience!
