This 5 star large 2 bedroom flat, sleeps 4 with perfect central location

Aquamar is a 5 star luxury apartment in a quiet yet central location at the edge of Vilamoura marina. The shops & bars are just round the corner and you can walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes. A large south facing terrace gives you gorgeous views over the pool, to the marina and coastline beyond.

It’s a spacious two bed apartment that sleeps four. It has a large lounge, fully fitted kitchen, Master bedroom with ensuite bath/shower room, 2nd double bedroom, a cloakroom / 2nd shower room, balcony with recliners and seating area. The property was completed in 2006 to a very high specification which include 24 hour security, marble floors, air conditioning, flat screen TV, Jacuzzi bath & parking. Outside in the landscaped gardens is a beautiful swimming pool that’s linked to a shallow pool for small children.

This apartment is perfectly suited for professional people, small families and golfers and just 30 minutes from Faro Airport

Justa was very helpful and so too was Adelaide who met us on arrival at the apartment, even helped me understand the workings of the washing machine!

We found the apartment exceptionally clean, comfortable and airy just like the previous year. Wonderful balcony with open views.

Great location...easy walk to marina and the fab Felesia beach.

Would highly recommend Felesia beach for wheelchair users. The decking goes for a long stretch and to the disabled sunbeds which is brilliant! There are also disabled toilets at the bars/restaurants on the beach.

Just returned with my friend from a 4 day break staying at this apartment. Location is excellent at the quieter end of the marina but your only a few minutes away from the bars and restaurants. Falesia beach is only 10mins walk and well worth a visit. There is a supermarket right at the entrance of the apartment block, it is big enough to get essentials and Jaffers larger supermarket is about 10-15 mins walk away. The apartment itself was exactly per the description good layout, high quality, well maintained, clean bright and airy, it is a south facing 3rd floor apartment with a beautiful view, and you get the sun on your balcony through to late in the evening, if I have one gripe it would be to change the handles on the wardrobes in the main bedroom bit difficult to open but I am being very picky here! The complex itself is very clean, with 24 hour security at the front desk who were also excellent if you needed any help. Justa was very pleasant and helpful during our stay and I would highly recommend this apartment. If you are looking for airport transfers go for Yellowfish transfers, used them twice this year, excellent service and competitive rates.

The location is ideal with the beach and restaurants really near while still being in a quiet spot.

The apartment is well equipped and clean and well maintained.

I am booking for the fourth year and would highly recommend.

Great Apartment and Location

The apartment is in a fantastic location at the quiet end of the marina but only a couple of minutes to bar and restaurants and not even a 10 minute walk to the beach.

There are many restuarants to choose from and not as expensive as we thought. Went to the Thai beach club, a bit more expensive and watched the sunset, great.

We hired a car from the airport which we booked in England, not sure I would do that again as they charged £80 for a full tank of petrol, which we struggled to use up, even though we went out a lot. I think next time I would ask Justa to book us an airport transfer and think about it once over there. It was great knowing she was at the other end of the phone if we needed her.

Loved the balcony, being south facing, nice to sit on late afternoon

Would recommend this apartment to all age groups, had a great time

Holiday Review

This apartment is ideal. I cannot praise it enough.

2mins walk and you are on the marina with all its lovely resturants & shops

Manager arranged transfer to and from airport. Cost between 25-27 euro’s each way. Note that some ticket agencies in the town can do fixed prices for transport. I found one near the Helly Hensen shop which done it for 22.50 euros fixed each way.

Recommend visit to Fiesa Sand Sculpture near Albuferia. Taxi driver agree to take us for 55 euros retn but that did not include admission which took the price up to about 80 euros for family of four. Ticket agency nr the Santander cash machines at the marina did 2 adults & 2 children trip inc admission for 42 euro.

If using iphone , best to go to Vodaphone shop at airport where you can get a local sim for no more than 2 euros for the week. This is for data for the week 35mb then add talk time pay as you. The tariff is Addititves. For my internet and calls to taxis etc it cost about 13e for week.

Back to the apartment. Has great wifi which is a bonus but would recommend

the owner invests in some ipod / iphone docking stations for handy charging. By now you will probably work out I am a technology geek.

Good day trip to Loule, gypsy market, taxi driver took four of us for 35 euro retn

but later found you can get organised trips for 6 euro per person. So you learn for the next time. Also advise doing your shopping in local town of Quateria which is only 5min taxi trip and the shops in general are much cheaper. Same can be said for Loule.

Recommended that the owner provides additional toilet rolls,dish clothes & washing up liquid which we sort of expected in the price.

The apartment was not cleaned during the visit which we also expected as well as the lack of a fire extinguisher which I thought should have been provided in case of any accidents in the kitchen etc. Minor points but advised the owner of my thoughts when I retn from hols. Justa the on-site manager was there when we needed her which wasn’t much but she never let us down. I would recommend this property but I would advise that at certain times of the year I think this apartment block could become quite busy. Not a problem when we were there but could be at more peak times of the year. I’m thinking of getting a choice of loungers at the pool etc Anyway had a good holiday, will be back in Vilamoura if everything goes to plan and I will firstly consider this apartment again before I try anywhere else.

4th Visit

This was the 4th year my husband & I have stayed in this apartment, it feels very much like a second home. This year with the addition of a second shower room and a new very comfy setee and wi fi it was even better.

Justa is very helpful and it is good to know that someone is there to help should you ever have any problems.

The position of the apartment is perfect, right at the quiet end of the Marina with the most amazing view.

Absolutely loved this apartment. Have stayed in Vilamoura many times but the location of this apartment added to the experience. The views were stunning and it was extremely convenient for everything. The apartment was just as it appeared in the pictures and the building itself was extremely well maintained. Would certainly return!
