independent house with private pool on a large plot in the Dordogne.

Location:

House recently built with pool, built on a former vineyard, south facing, with panoramic views of the Dordogne valley. It is located 15 minutes from Sarlat and Souillac and very close to many tourist sites of the Dordogne and Lot.

The Top Mondou- is in the municipality of St Julien de Lampon, a small town of 750 inhabitants located on the banks of the Dordogne River.

The heart of the village offers, 1.5km from the house, all amenities including bakery, butcher, supermarket, post office, bank, pharmacy, doctor's office, Thursday morning market, pizzeria and restaurants.

You will spend a quiet holiday by the pool, active in the many sites of the region, gastronomic in the heart of the Périgord so famous for its products, cultural theater in Sarlat, musical Souillac ...

The rates charged in 2018 will be identical in 2019.

The house, completely independent and can accommodate 6-8 people. Ideal for holidays with family or friends.

Ground floor: bedroom (bed 160), bathroom with shower, separate toilet, lounge room opening onto a terrace under the trellis, kitchen opening onto a second terrace, pantry.

On the floor: a room (2 beds 90), a room (bed 140), a room (bed of 180), a room of bath with tub, an independent toilet. 2 baby beds available, movable.

Underfloor heating with 2 levels.

The house is equipped with ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and table, TV, DVD player, radio, kitchen utensils.

Outside: garden furniture, deckchairs, parasols, barbecue. Private pool (8x4) with motorized safety cover. Shelter for 2 cars. Ground of 2500m2, not closed.

An excellent holiday cottage

We had a great stay in this cottage. We met the owners to collect the keys and they were very helpful. Everything in the cottage was clean and the cottage and grounds are delightful. The cottage is very peaceful but within 20 - 30mins of the main sights.

The pool are is the star of the show and the photo's are very accurate. We will definitely return to this cottage in the future and can recommend it.

The most wonderful place

My parents, elderly grandfather and I stayed in this beautiful house for one week in early June. The house is extremely well equipped. No frills but everything was clean and very well thought out. We were extremely lucky with the weather and had temperatures around 30 degrees for most of the week. This meant we made use of the different terraces throughout the day where we enjoyed different views of the garden.

The owners were extremely pleasant and helpful. The village is a 15min walk though fields and has a baker, butcher and a couple of corner stores where we were able to find most if our foods, although the supermarket was only 20min away. The house is located right at the beginning of the Dordogne region so well placed for the motorway but also local visits.

We will be back!

Perfektes Ferienhaus mit schönem Pool in wunderbarer Lage.

Das Haus ist sehr schön, großzügig gebaut und gut durchdacht.

Es ist sowohl für ein Paar (wir haben einfach nur das Erdgeschoss bewohnt) als auch für eine große Familie oder bis zu 3 Paare wunderbar geeignet. Es gibt genügend große Tische, Stühle und um das Haus verteilte Sitzgruppen. Der Garten ist traumhaft angelegt und bietet auch eine ruhige Sitzecke. Und der Pool ist einfach wunderbar und den ganzen Tag sonnenbeschienen.

Wir haben besonders die mit Wein überwachsene und dadurch schattige Terrasse direkt vor dem Wohn-Esszimmer mit ihrem wunderbaren weiten Blick genossen.

Der kleine Ort St. Julien de Lampon bietet eine Bäckerei, eine Fleischerei, ein kleines Lebensmittelgeschäft, eine Apotheke und Ärzte, sowie eine Brasserie und Restaurants. Man braucht also nicht unbedingt zu den Supermärkten in Sarlat oder Souillac fahren.

Die Landschaften und fast alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Dordogne sind gut erreichbar.

Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und freundlich, völlig unaufdringlich, waren aber immer erreichbar und für die Poolwartung auch ein bis zweimal in der Woche am Haus.

Wir können dieses Ferienhaus nur uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Un vrai plaisir

Ah, quels souvenirs cette semaine de vacances!!!

La maison est idéale et a tout pour elle: espace, confort, luminosité, bel aménagement, bon équipement, décoration agréable, bonne localisation et documentation touristique pour découvrir la région et très agréable vue.

La piscine est bien évidemment un must mais si tôt dans la saison elle est malheureusement trop froide, même si les plus téméraires si sont essayés . Un tout grand merci néanmoins de l'avoir préparée pour notre venue.

Vous l'aurez compris, les propriétaires sont charmants et d'une réactivité impeccable pour résoudre le moindre problème.

Merci pour votre accueil. Comptez sur nous pour revenir au plus vite.
