Great apartment, close to the beach
Great apartment, clean and well kept with a great view over the sea. Very nice hosts, excellent location close to beach as well as restaurants and bus stop for buses to Ermopolis
Great location, friendly people
Really lovely people; we had planned to catch a bus to Galissas from the port, but when our ferry changed to a much later time, Panos immediately offered to pick us up which we greatly appreciated. His wife and he were both extremely welcoming and left us water, wine and delicious homemade fig jam in the kitchen.
The apartment; spacious, characterful, clean and well-equipped.It's the top floor of the picture you can see, with a sea view from the balcony. It is a very short walk to the gorgeous beach, a handful of good tavernas, a car rental place and two mini-markets.
Big flag near to the beach
Nice property with big rooms with own bathrooms. Terrace with sea and sunset view! Beach just around the corner and also shops, restaurants and bus stop. Friendly and warm hospitality. Very recommendable.
Negotiated a shorter stay!
Modest accommodations, but good price. We were able to negotiate a 3-night stay which was very much appreciated. Good location.
The flat is very nice, simple with a lot of space. well furnished with a very good location in Galissas. Stella is so nice and helpful that our stay was excellent. I recommend this place.
Excellente location, vaste et bien équipée, bien placée dans le village. Stella et son mari sont très serviables. Je vous recommande cet appartement.
Syros is a Greek island in the Cyclades, in the Aegean Sea. It is located 78 nautical miles (144 km) south-east of Athens. The area of the island is 83.6 km2 (32 sq mi). The largest towns are Ermoupoli, Ano Syros, and Vari. Ermoupoli is the capital of the island and the Cyclades. It has always been a significant port town, and during the 19th century it was even more significant than Piraeus. Ermoupoli, stands on a naturally amphitheatrical site, with neo-classical buildings, old mansions and white houses cascading down to the harbour. The City Hall, where Miaoulis Square lies ringed with cafes and with seating areas under palm trees, has a grandeur all of its own. The 'City of Hermes' has numerous churches. The Archaeological Museum has a collection of notable finds and the Municipal Library contains numerous interesting and rare editions. The quarter of the town known as Vaporia, where the sea captains lived, is of special interest. Along its narrow streets stand numerous neo-classic
