Excellent maid included with rental, 2-3 days (2 hrs per day), cleaning and washing.,free Wifi,2 SAT-TV,like in a 5 star hotel you get all necessary from soap to morning gowns,beach toys,library in English, German, French, Spanish. Born in a German castle as Viktoria-Luise, Princess zu Schaumburg-Lippe,with German and Austrian nationality,studied Int.Architecture in Paris and had just passed also the German diploma,when I met 1966 my first husband,a famous man:Dr.h.c.Count Stackelberg,born in Estonia,founder of EMNID,the first institute for public and marketing research in Germany.He worked worldwide and had 4 own offices in Asia already 1960,I helped him and we traveled together.He has been adviser of the German chancellor,wrote more than 60 books.

2 sons were born,who are in top-positions, happily married ,each with 2 children.The whole family lives in Munich,Germany.

When my husband slowly died of cancer19980,I have been the first writing and organising reports worldwide for AMBIENTE,the best German Interior Architecture magazine ,for nearly 10 years, being asked to become 'rédactrice en chef 'for Vogue

Décoration.But just remarried 1983 to elegant H.J.v.Goerne,Ex-Colonel (anti- Hitler).he participated(5 sports)in the Olympic Games,also Polo player,became film producer,publisher ,business man who constructed his own factory,afterwards about 50 houses in Munich and Marbella,had car racing license nr.1 after the war and both of my husbands drove Rallye Monte Carlo .In 1982 his finished the one-level villas and the beautiful colorful tropical gardens in Pavona Real Urban.,Marbella.Practical casa Benty has been his last construction in1982. This elegant, sportive man also died of cancer in 2001.We just love to stay in BENTY, 180m2,because it is small (no castle!),has no staircases and not a cm of lost space.My 4 grandchildren would prefer to live there all the time to enjoy the relaxing property with the safe garden and pool in best location.

My late 2. husband had the chance to buy the perfect AAA land W to the old town-center of Marbella,beginning of world famous Golden Mile for constructing several villas (one floor,no staircases!!)and planned also the colorful exotic gardens of 1200m2 - 4000m2 with private pools.Plots not to find anymore.! Benty is constructed into the middle of these exclusive highest standard private Pavona Real area properties. No noisy road disturbs.For me it is the best location of Marbella,adviced to my husband by Prince Hohenlohe,founder of the famous Marbella Club Hotel .Benty is in only 5 min. walk to Parque Paco Cantos:tennis,squash,football,and childrens playground with café,taxi office ,to Golf Monte Paraiso , buses ,3 supermarkets,shops,banks,bars,restaurants,10min.to the famous old town center,"casco antiguo,all the sandy beaches with the 20km long sea-promenade Paseo Maritimo with shops,,biking,.sport,bars,restaurants,incafé Capuccino,(Hotel Gran Melia Don Pepe).Only here in front of the National Park mountain "La Concha" we profit from the best climate in Europe.

Here we have the best climate in Marbella.You do not need a car,if not wished.

I am Interior Architect and casa Benty is practical,cosy,and you will find everything necessary from morning grown to soaps,hair dryers in every bathroom,towels etc.We want to have it elegant,but easy going and well kept.,nearly like in a 5 star hotel.The gardener will work daily,also cleaning the pool .Olga,(55) will clean,the house and the apartment 3x2 hours weekly is ironing and washing in the separate outside room for the guests,not to disturb..

Hemos disfrutado de "Casa Benty" durante todo el mes de agosto, y ha sido una experiencia maravillosa. La casa está ubicada en Marbella ciudad, a unos 500 m del Pirulí, por lo que puedes ir andando a todos sitios. Sin embargo, una vez que entras en la casa tienes la sensación de estar en un paraíso...El jardín es precioso y está muy bien cuidado. Y la casa, sin ser grande, tiene todo lo necesario, es muy cómoda y acogedora, y está muy limpia y bien mantenida.

Además de el jardinero, 3 veces a la semana venía una asistenta, "Olga", que era muy amable y eficiente.

Sin duda recomendaría esta casa, y de hecho espero poder repetir....

Owner is trying to pull something by requesting payment and social security numbers

I booked this home in Feb 2017 for a stay in 6/2017. About 25 days before we are to stay here (conveniently inside the 30 day window for cancellations) the owner emails me up saying that she needs copies of passports of all guests, a tax ID number, and to make payment to her German bank directly. A red flag went up to us and we called VRBO about this because we didn't trust the owner. Well, VRBO said we could not do anything until we got to Spain and the house was not available. So we wait until our trip. In the meanwhile, we tell the owner we do not have a tax ID number and she insists on having our social security numbers, which we do not give to her. We finally make it to Spain and the house is pretty much as described. It is not a luxury home and it is too far away to walk to any attractions. You will need a car. Neighborhood is quiet and google maps took us directly there on the first try. We get settled in and it is kind of warm but cooling off. A/C units are mini splits and only in the 2 bedrooms. One of them leaked all over the floor the entire time we were there. The mattresses are not very good at all. Good luck getting a good nights sleep on them. The pans in the kitchen were mostly teflon and were very worn out. The teflon coating actually came off in a paper towel when I wiped it. The yard/garden is beautiful. The pool is nice but a little too cool for swimming in June. The housekeeper did show up the next day (as well as every other day thereafter). She seemed like she was only there to check up on us & multiple times asked us to take things out of the dryer for her or unplug all the water heaters when we left. The 2nd day we were there she came over and called the owner. The owner again demanded a social security number saying she had to have it because it was a new spanish law. What a load of BS. We gave her some random number so she would leave us alone about it. But seriously who demands a social security number for people renting your home in another country? That's ridiculous. I am fairly certain she is scamming people. Just not sure how she is doing it. Be cautious renting from this owner.

Owner's Response: renter 3365772 Roger D.M. 1)Sorry ,if there has been a misunderstanding.I have experience in renting out my holiday homes since about 35 years.We always trusted each other. 2)I asked Mr.R.D.M. not to send money to the Spanish bank,because it nearly bankrupt and was sold this summer 2017 for 1€ to Banco Santander.For weeks I could not reach the bank. 3)The Spanish Government had years of problems with corruption,immigration from Africa and drug dealing.To avoid problems ,all guests of hotels and private homes are asked to present copies of their passports and their tax numbers.The home owners are obliged to forward the documents to the local authorities. Home Owners have to be registered by the Tourist office. I got my number 2017. 4)My help for the house Olga (language teacher)and gardener José M.are experienced,well trained, honest,polite- sometimes working more hours than they are obliged to. 5)Mr.R.D.M. has never been asked by me to present his social security number.It has been his idea and he told me not to have a tax number at his age over 65. 6) My late husband constructed about 40 practical elegant villas with gardens between 1200m2 and 4000m2.They all have nordic roofs ,which are protecting against rain and sun,Benty has been his last construction.So I use air condition during the winter in "Benty" and have also planted a dozen high Palm trees to protect the house against summer heat. 7)The air condition did not leak before the arrival of these renters and had to be repaired by a specialist after their departure ,because the renter made changes. Our stay at Casa Benty has been a truly exceptional parenthesis of peace, happiness and beauty. The house is nothing less than stunning, it reflects such a perfect good taste. Christmas/New Year2016/2017

Wonderful to escape the Nordic cold to be in the relaxing casa BENTY,where it is time at Christmas to eat the oranges and mandarines from the garden.Olga ,the efficiant maid is cleaning,washing,ironing and the gardeners work turns the garden into a paradise .To enjoy the BBQ on the terrace was just perfect for lunch.,we did feel at home and come back.

Benty is safe,gated ,practical and in walking distance to town,beach,golf,park.V.S.-G.and B.D.

Idyllic Marbella house

The house was beautiful, fully-equipped and has a stellar location. It was a joy to stay there --- so near Marbella town, so handy, but totally tranquil. It was living in a garden with a great view of the pillars of Hercules. We recommend it and will return.

Marbella has no train,but overland Bus Station "Portillo" 10min.walk and town buses.Best sandy beaches east and west of town.Drive to Puerto Banus,the world-famous Yacht harbor 10 km west.
