Killington, VT - Great Location, Large Floorplan & Plentiful Amenities

Our Killington chalet offers a great combination of central location, very comfortable accommodations, and abundant amenities. We are situated right off the access road: one mile from the base lodges and short walking distance to a number of Killington restaurants, shops, and nightspots.

We have six furnished bedrooms, four remodeled bathrooms, cathedral ceilings in the great room, a game room to retire to downstairs, and a sprawling deck in the back. Amenities include two large HDTVs, classic pool table, a well-maintained 5-person hot tub, BBQ grill, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and much more.

Regardless of whether for a getaway group of families, friends, or professionals, we're sure you'll be more than satisfied with the whole package the house offers.

Great location

Great location right off the access road with a very well stocked kitchen for big group dinners. Clean hot tub. Plenty of beds and space for people to have their own time. Incredibly responsive host. Highly recommend. Bedrooms do get super hot at night even with thermostat turned down so you will want to crack the windows.

Dated, Weird Layout, Broken Fridge

The house was a bit dumpy & dated, smaller than it appears in the pictures, one of the bedrooms can only be accessed by walking through another bedroom, refrigerator was broken (!!!) and the minifridge wasn't working Cleaning fees are outlandish. Check-in was delayed because house wasn't ready. The place is vastly overpriced and isn't well maintained. Positives: close to Killington, walking distance to restaurants, the owner seems nice

Great location, great owner, not so great amenities, was not clean

Ed was fantastic in communicating when we needed him--which ended up being several times throughout our 48 hour stay. The check-in wasn't great due to the house codes not working, the interior rooms were not as photographed (there were a few beds not made up and one room had stacked cinderblocks and an open fireplace), there was white dog hair on all surfaces/furniture/under the beds, and it was extremely musty smelling. We arrived in the afternoon and had to air out the house by opening windows. When the temperature dropped that evening (to 30 degrees) we were forced to close them and put the heat on. The thermostats had pin numbers to change the temperature--so I had to contact Ed again to get the pin because it was not provided. The basement thermostat pin was different from the main floor and Ed was unable to provide us with that pin so he controlled/set the temp it from his end. When we went to use the hot tub, the cover was broken and would not stay open more than halfway. I had to bungee cord it in order to open up the cover so we could all get in and be together. All in all the best part about this place is the location and the ability to sleep a lot of people. Ed's communication skills were also a huge plus seeing as we needed to stay in touch throughout our brief stay.
