Exceptional first floor summer residence exactly by the sea and its own direct access to sea,designed and built by the owner (civil engineer) who lives in the ground floor.

It is highly recomended as an ideal place with a high privacy for the quests, either for families with one or two children( plus a baby or infant) or for one or two couples,or singles.

Baby cot, baby chair,baby relax seat, baby stroller are provided upon request with no charge.

From the moment you enter the house you get the feeling of being in your home.

Fresh fruits and o bottle of wine are offered for your welcome at home.

The living-room has traditional hand made furniture as well as the kitchen-dining area. The roof is wooden in all over the house. The white painted walls, the light green wooden doors and windows, the colorful linen and curtains, the high quality anatomic mattresses in beds and other small decorative and practical details, make you feel like being at your home.

The privacy by any meaning at the outside area and verandas is exceptional and a very good reason for everybody to stay in this house.

Another good reason to stay in this house is the experience of the fantastic view.

In the early morning you can really watch the sun rising,a spectacle that you can never get enough of it even if you watch it everyday.

During the night from the two level veranda you can relax and enjoy with your company in high privacy the moon rising and be overwhelmed by the full moon,the tranquility and serenity of the summer nights.

Along with all that you have a panoramic view of the village.

ACCESS TO THE SEA: In additional to all the above, one of the most important advantage of the house is its own direct access to the sea either for swimming or for other summer activities in the sea water.

Early morning or late afternoon swim in front of the house is an experience you will enjoy every day of your stay in the house.

One stair leads you from the floor veranda to the big ground veranda.Going down a few steps from the ground veranda you reach a small half sandy-half smooth graveled beach and by making one small step you find yourself in the sea water.Ten meters away,on your left hand as you watch the beach there is a concrete made dock that helps you to sun exposure or to fasten safely a small boat.

If you walk by the seashore or the road and after 300m from the house you reach the long sandy and tree-shaded beach of POLLONIA.

INSIDE DESCRIPTION: The house has 82sqm with two bedrooms, living room, dining area with kitchen and two bathrooms. The queen bedded room has a door which leads to a balcony facing north the ground garden and a window facing west the ground garden.The two twin bedded room has a window facing west the ground garden and a door which leads to the first level veranda facing south the sea and the village . The living room apart from the main door(entrance) has a window and a door that leads you to the two level veranda facing south the village,the big ground veranda and the magnificent, extremely beautiful seaview. One part of the veranda is sun protected with cane ceiling and the rest of it with big umbrellas.

ABOUT MILOS ISLAND: One of the most beautiful islands in Cyclades. 75 beaches all around the island with different colors, sandy or rock, sea caves, crystal sea water,are waiting for you to be visited.

We stayed on the island of Milos for two weeks in Babis’ charming sea front house. The house is in a pretty location and very quiet. We enjoyed the beautiful views and the outside areas where we could sit, relax and have our breakfast. As it was far too windy to go to the beach, Babis very kindly purchased two sun loungers so we could try to relax on the terrace. The house is furnished with very comfortable beds and other nice touches such as fruit juice, water, wine, coffee and tea. Great internet and air con.

There are fabulous rocks where you can swim behind the house with crystal clear water. Despite the heavy wind, which unfortunately lasted for quite a while, our last few days were magical.The water was so much warmer and we were able to take the most memorable boat trip on the 'Perseas' with Andreas which I HIGHLY recommend. We loved it so much we went twice! Don’t waste money on other boat trips that take you around the entire island like we did on the first few days to try to avoid the wind by going to the South. You will be on the water for much of the day with not many stops, too many people [ over 25] and bad food. Andreas only takes up to 11 and prepares a DELICIOUS BBQ himself. We went via Kimolos to Polyaigos, stopping to swim in crystal clear waters away from any other boats. The lunch stop on the un inhabited island of Polyaigos in a stunning bay which was fantastic, a truly magical experience. See for yourself in all the reviews under Perseas Boat with Andreas.

Fabulous property in a great location!

Babis and Maria welcomed us into the apartment, giving us a guided tour of the rooms, appliances and other details we needed to be aware of. The apartment was scrupulously clean, with a light and airy feel. There was water, tea, coffee, juices provided upon arrival. A small washing machine is situated in one of the bathrooms, helpful when you have kids!

The apartment itself is the upper floor of the owners holiday dwelling, we were not disturbed at any time by the owners occupying the ground floor.

The balcony had comfortable outdoor seating for lounging, there was also 2 table and chair sets for eating/drinks etc. The views from here are lovely to wake to and watch the sun go down. Small boats along with a small car ferry use the small harbor, always interesting to watch. The steps from the apartment take you directly into the sea, a delight for a quick dip or a morning swim.

The apartment is a short walk away from restaurants, cafes, bakery and mini-market. Restaurants all serve lovely food, try them all. The bakery is a must for a strong coffee and delicious pastry.

We had a car for the entire time we were here, the island is small enough to travel around over a holiday. The apartment is an ideal base to explore the island with must have trips to Adamas & Plaka, along with the catacombs and museums and much more. There beeches are plentyful, each one different due to the weather conditions. We explored many and each became our favorite daily!

I would definitely recommend this apartment to other families. Our children are aged 13 &14.

Wonderful property in perfect location!!!!

I don't know what more I can say that already hasn't been said by other reviewers. Stop reading and book this property already.

Our vacation started with a quick meet at the property. We were greeted with water, fruit juice, fresh fruit, and a bottle of wine. Everything was explained to us clearly. Babis kept in contact by email constantly and answered any questions promptly.

The town is a 7 minute walk and we found that the prices on the island were very reasonable unlike Caribbean and other islands we have visited.

You are probably trying to find the perfect location for a dream vacation. This island is the place to go as well as this property. At the end of the week, we met with Babis' wife and she asked for feedback and suggestions. Honestly we don't think that they can improve anything, it was a perfect vacation. We will be back.

Fantastic location, 1st class house, personable, intelligent and respected owner - 5+ stars

We have stayed in many properties over the years and we would have to say that our stay on Milos was picture perfect mainly because of our decision to rent this wonderful seaside home owned by Babis (don't worry about his full name, you don't want to try to pronounce it).

From the start, we could tell that Babis was an hands on, friendly and personable owner, with everything communicated openly and upfront - a rarity these days - and with a fast response which we greatly appreciated. We found it easy to communicate and receive friendly, complete answers to our many inquiries and questions. Reservations were easily secured and deposits made and terms easily understood, in writing.

Fast forward to our arrival, the house was easily found and exactly as described. The pictures do not convey the true nature and workmanship, care and pride of ownership evidenced in this extremely well constructed and appointed property - the actual experience far exceeds the pictures. Everything was provided for an easy stay, and everything provided was of superior or better quality - nothing was left out - and you will have everything you need to make your life easy. Not only this, but the house is also impeccably clean and well-maintained. Walking down the steps at the private rear of the house right into the ocean is incredible, as is the view from the balcony across the bay to the town and beach of Pollonia, only a short stroll away. With Babis' help we explored much of Milos during our week there by renting a car from the company he referred.

Everywhere we went whether that be to local restaurants, car rental counters, gas stations, stores, it didn't matter where - it seems everyone knows Babis. Not only do they know him, but his name carries weight wherever you go as a long-time resident and a highly respected business owner. Our stay was fantastic, and we enjoyed our many conversations with Babis, who is one of the friendliest and definitely one of the most interesting people we have met in all of our many worldwide travels.

If you get the idea we were totally taken away with our experience, you are right. This is from people who have travelled all over the world and in many different accommodations, etc. Again, we can't speak more highly of this property and owner. It's more than just a place to stay - it is a whole experience. So, stop reading right now and make your reservation without any further delay - you will not be disappointed in the least bit.

Quiet and beautiful place.

This is our second time in Babis's home. We will come for a third.

The house is well organized with all you need and more.

Babis is a great guest and helps you for everything.

The house is in a quite place on the sea.

From your bed you can hear the sea.

The island have dozen of beautiful beaches where to go.

The Pollonia town near the house have ove ten little restaurants where to eat all you want.

The place is a little paradise.

Nous avons passé une semaine superbe. Milos est une île très surprenante et contrastée, aux plages magnifiques. Pollonia est une petite station balnéaire familiale très sympathique et calme. La maison correspond tout à fait à la description, avec une sublime terrasse avec vue sur la baie de Pollonia, un petit escalier pour accéder à la mer, une douche extérieure ...

A l'interieur, la maison s'avère très fonctionnelle.

Babis et sa famille nous ont accueillis de manière très sympathique, nous nous sommes sentis chez nous ...

Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Our summer residence is located at the left edge of Pollonia village, 200m before the lighthouse in a very quiet and easy to reach area which is the most beautiful of the village and one of the best in the whole island of Milos. Pollonia is a small picturesque fishing village at the north side of the island, peaceful and quiet. Here are the best sea food restaurants and traditional taverns of the island. You can find gift shops, cafes, bakery stores, super market, rent a car services and a diving school. There is also playground for children, basketball and beach volleyball facilities. There is connection with the small island of Kimolos within 20min by ferry boat and excursions to certain beaches or places of the island by small boats. Between Kimolos and Pollonia there is a certain sea area for the survival and the protection of the 'monahus monahus'seal.

From the first day we supply you(with no charge) one 1.5lit bottle of water and one 1.0 lit bottle of fruitjuice per each day of staying of two persons and enough supplies (filter coffee, greek coffee, espresso, instant coffee, chocolate, sugar and tea). If you want a daily maid service(cleaning, washing dishes or clothes etc) or whenever you wish, it can be done with an extra fee of 10 euro/hour and minimum fee 30 euro/day. The veranda can be fenced if needed for baby safety.In case of babies or little children we put one safe door on the top of the two stairways to the verandas.The verandas are 40m2 in two levels with two dinning tables and one set of sofa and two armchairs.Two big umbrellas protect from sun if needed. Before your arrival you may let us know if you will have the need of some certain buings to be done for you and be at home the day and time of your check in( like milk,bread,margarine,butter, eggs,olive oil,corn flakes,etc).You will be charged only the receipt value
