Natural Park Southwest Alentejo, stunning views, pool, near beaches

The house is spacious very well eqiupped and was perfect for a family group. Rodrigo was the perfect host and most welcoming.

He gave brilliant instructions for how to find the house and was there to greet us even though we arrived late in the evening.

Beaches near the house include Odeceixe which had sand and surfing and a river beach too. Paddle boards and surf and body boards were easily hired and above the beach is a cafe with superb custard tarts!

We had a brilliant week and have already recommended it to our friends.

We stayed at Monte Pedras Pardas a week in May and had the most amazing time. The property is beautiful, quiet and perfect to spend some

relaxing and inspiring time. The house is very spacious, comfy, perfectly clean and has everything you could ever need. It offers a big sitting/dining

area with a large table as well as areas to have some privacy. The pool area is perfect with deckchairs to relax and enjoy the view. We had bbqs

outside and enjoyed fresh vegetables from the garden nearby. The area also has a lot to offer: beautiful beaches, surfing, hiking on a wonderful coast,

eating... This made it so difficult to decide whether to spent the day in the wonderful house or explore the area :).

Dear Rodrigo,

we loved to stay at your beautiful area. We had two amazing weeks with the whole family, 13 guys from the age of 2 to 82. Thank you very much for the pefect service of you, your brother and espacially the houskeeper who offers us so many vegatables, fruits and eggs all fresh from the garden.

The nature round about the house is wonderful and we enjoy this quit place to relax at the pool with a big scenery until the atlantique. Had some nice barbecues and some surfing lessons at different fantastic beaches, Those who prefer fresh fish, there are a lot of good restaurants, The house keeps what the pictures are promissing at the homepage. The poperty is clean and well maintained.

This area in Portugal we love most because it is inside the national park without any hotel complexes. Natives are very friendly. Best wishes to your mom and thank you for the marmelade.

Friends are asking us and my whole family is recommending your property as a "best place" for comming together within a family or just friends and learn to know about portugal.

We spent a week in this house together with friends and our two kids. We had a great time. Apart from the house which is very comfortable with room for both privacy and spending time together, we especially enjoyed the kitchen garden where we picked our own vegetables every day. The kids loved to visit the animals kept not far from the house and to collect fresh eggs. The pool area had a great view of the landscape and the atlantic sea. The pool had a modern cleaning system which involved no chlorine. Instead the water was slightly salty and felt incredibly fresh, almost like sea water.

The house was not right by the sea side, but the surrounding area was very charming and typical for the Alentejo area with small villages and plenty of cork trees. And the sea was only ten minutes away by car. During our week we found beautiful beaches and in one place they offered wave surfing courses. The most brave of us had to try and believe it or not, our ten year old was the master among us.
