Everything was great!
We were a group of 16 friends and family who had a little reunion at this place. Alex who was taking care of everything at the house was so great and very responsive if we needed anything. We enjoyed our stay there and were comfortably sleeping in this excellent charming farm house. Although the house is very old it is very well maintained and everything clean and organized. I highly recommend this place if you want a nice getaway.
Cozy country rental
We had a wonderful stay with our large family in this expansive yet cozy country house. The home owner Alex did everything possible to meet our needs even going to the point of acquiring a crib for our grandson. Alex was easily reachable and more than pleasant to deal with. The only thing he couldn't fix for us was the weather. I would definitely stay in this home again!
West Point Graduation
Our second stay at this warm, inviting New York country home. We were in area for our son's West Point graduation. A hectic, emotional and logistics filled week. The Kitchawan Station House truly was our home away from home. We all felt so comfortable and our celebration so special! From early breakfasts in ample and well appointed country kitchen to evenings around the fire pit on new cozy patio. The grounds were lush, green and alive with birds, a few deer greeting us each day. Lawns hosted rugby, football, bocce ball, badminton and many photo ops! Great local market, Decicco, helped meet all our meal planning and catering needs. Alex and Lindsay great hosts, including tour of their farm down the road. We hope to be back! Thanks again for being such a wonderful part of this big family event. You are indelible in our memory!
Warm, inviting, comfortable, "family and friends welcome" private Farm House
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kichawan Farm House. Step back in time...antiques and New England charm abound. Comfy rooms, ample space, bathrooms aplenty. Our family of 8 (6 adult children) experienced a fantastic extended weekend here as we navigated a West Point Ring Ceremony for our youngest son, a cadet there. Fun fire pit feature caught us with a nightly recap of day's events under the huge trees and canopy of stars. Alex and family could not have been more gracious hosts, attentive to our every need. Lucky enough to snag fresh eggs and veggies from their farm nearby. Alex also helped us with dining options, (Peter Pratt's was a win! ) hikes nearby and general lay of the land. We can't wait to return for West Point Graduation 2017 and hopefully a spring WP rugby game vs. Navy in the Spring as well. Thank you for providing the unique opportunity to experience this precious family time in what felt like home!
