3 Bedroom Beach-front Villa with Pool and Private Garden

As you awake and open the doors you will be greeted by blue skies and a magical view looking out across the bay to St Tropez. From here it is your choice whether to relax in the private garden, take a soak in the pool, splash in the sea or stroll through the park into the centre of the village. Built on the site of an old mansion in 2006, the tastefully furnished and extraordinarily well equipped villa has everything you could need for the perfect holiday on the French Riviera. Upstairs are two double bedrooms (one with en-suite), a twin bedroom and family bathroom. Downstairs is open plan with generous kitchen (with breakfast bar), dining and lounge areas. Also, a further WC. There is air conditioning and the quality of the accommodation along with the luxurious fittings are sure to make your stay memorable. Outside is a terrace area and private garden

Why Mark Gill chose St Tropez region

The location is perfect the beaches, food, rosé wine relaxation is ideal. I can also walk to the village so don't need to get in a car every time I want to go out!

What makes this villa unique

Right on the Sea with great sea views and also a walk into the village so you don't need a car every day to shop or go out in the evening which is rare in this part of the world when you book a villa they are rarely right on the beach and a car ride anywhere! Great is you have kids or don't want to drive much or at all!

Nice family orientated villa

Our party of 4 adults & 2 small children stayed for 2 weeks at the end of August and really enjoyed our stay. Located in a nice area across the main costal road from the sea, the mid terrace villa is set in well kept grounds with security gates, parking for 2 cars, roller blinds on the villa windows and a small safe for passports etc. so we felt very safe & secure. On site there is a fenced in swimming pool (unheated) with 4 dedicated sun loungers while a rear gate gives access to a shingle beach & wooded area via an underpass. Downstairs is open plan with a well equipped kitchen, nicely decorated dining/lounge area and a TV, DVD player, cable/sat receiver with mainly European channels but we managed to find BBC World News plus a couple of English speaking news channels. The owners had thoughtfully provided a selection of DVDs which the children really appreciated. WiFi was free & reasonably fast. Sliding doors leads to a patio area with a 4 seat table and a small south facing garden with 2 more loungers & chairs plus a BBQ. The master bedroom has an en-suite with shower & a balcony with sea view (ideal for Grandparents). The second bedroom is a small double & the third has bunk beds. The bathroom has a bath & shower attachment plus a washing machine. Bed linen & towels were not changed during our fortnight but we were able to easily wash & dry them.

The shops are approx. 1km away with a supermarket at either end of the strip. Fresh bread & English newspapers are available. There is a small park with swings etc. in the middle opposite the port, quite a few restaurants & a sandy beach. Market day is Monday.

A car is essential – ours had a satnav which we found really useful. Les Issambres is a good base with Ste Maxime, Port Grimaud, Cannes, Antibes, Nice & Monaco all worth a visit & there is a ferry direct from Les Issambres port to St Tropez (15 euros return).

Overall it is a nice villa in a good location - remember to take insect repellent to this part of France.

It was one of our best holiday!

The villa has perfect location: just near the sea (only 120 steps!), luxury French Riviera, but very calm place, that is very good for families with children like ours, it is near Saint-Tropez and not far from Nice, Cannes and Provence. The villa is very cosy in Provence style (with all necessary equipment, including beach towels), has very good sitting-room with French windows to the garden, bedrooms have amazing sea-view. Also it was good because there was local traditional market with fresh products just near by and the shop with ecological products and also good restaurants. The owners gave us all recommendations (place to visit, restaurants, place to spend time with children etc) and provided excellent service. I can say that owners of villa are one of its advantages (very nice people:) We have been renting villas for summer vacation during last five years, so we can compare. For sure, I can recommend it to my friends and relatives, especially for families with children. Nataliya Demyanchenko & family from Moscow.

Les Issambres is around 50 minutes drive from Nice airport and about 20 minutes drive from the main A8 Autoroute. The nearest railway stations are at Fréjus and St Raphaël. Within a few minutes walk you have access to bars, restaurants, takeaways, shops, petrol station, pharmacy, butcher, fishmonger, bakeries, supermarkets, doctors, banks, day and night markets, Saint Peire Marina, water sports centre, tennis courts, tourist information office and more glorious sandy beaches.
