Luxurious, spacious villa, completely refurbished, in prime gated complex, Beautiful views from balcony offer perfect spot for family; (child gates top and bottom of stairs) honeymoon and golf. Enclosed kitchen, extensively stocked, connects by sliding hatch windows to tastefully furnished lounge. Master bedroom has built-in wooden furniture. New main bathroom has bath, bidet & walk-in shower. Below bedroom 2 has twin beds, en suite bathroom and washing machine. Patio furniture is on both floors. Fantastic pool and restaurant close by. Medical Centre, coffee shop and high class restaurant all within 50metres. TV in lounge receives BBC, ITV, Cn 5 plus DVD, and games area outside restaurant. 100m to bus stop for Los Christianos, El Medano and Las Chafiras. car to Siam Park, 6k to Tenerife South Airport. Handy to many amenities, San Blas Center, and motorway. Marina has submarine rides.,Good walk from marina round the coastline to Los Abrigos. Nightly entertainment at The Palms.

Things that make the difference. For those staying for 2 weeks or more there will be a change of linen and a short clean. This house has been refurbished to serve as a second home for the owners and consequently is of the standard of a home from home. Our place will appeal to clients wishing to have a property that genuinely meets the description. The kitchen is very well stocked both with equipment and with food.There is a large supply of glasses and dishes and further crockery can be found in the lounge cabinet.

All white goods are of a high standard and the washing machine very efficient. With the bright sunshine clothes can be washed and dried in the day reducing luggage weight. The patio table seats 6 and has a large parasole. There are two sun loungers, 4 chairs and a low table. Balcony furniture of table, parasole, and 4 chairs.

Around The Palms: Over the past two years the site has improved enormously with all the gardens well maintained and the walls and rails all freshly painted. The site is long with 96 single story houses and 124 duplexes. There are 4 pools two at the top, one in the middle and the other down the other end. A further pool has been reconstructed as a cactus garden. It is very pleasant to walk around the site. The restaurant is very popular and offers all day breakfast, baguettes at lunch as well as full lunch menu and evening menu plus take aways. There is varied entertainment every night with quizzes, karaoke and good singers. There is now a resident danish baker and coffee shop selling fresh bread every day, sandwiches and a variety of cakes and pastries. The big building at the top is opening as a medical centre in March and is looking very smart with its stone walls, white paint and palm trees. Our house is opposite a stocked supermarket at Las Adelfas II.

Out and About: The Palms is a place for a quite relaxing holiday and that is enough for many people. If you require a nice stroll then it is a pleasant walk down to the Marina where there are some very classy boats. You can also catch the bus just opposite the medical centre and link up with a bus to anywhere in Tenerife. You can walk coastal paths either right from the marina to Costa del Silencio or walk to San Blas, carry on to Los Abrigos and carry on along the coast to El Medano, about 10k. You can catch a bus there and walk back or vice versa. Whatever, you can do as much or as little as you like. There are a number of leaflets/brochures about trips around Tenerife in the house.

  • The two bathrooms are the size of bedrooms. The main bathroom, adjacent to the master bedroom, has been completely refurbished and has built in cupboards for storage, a spacious sink area, a large walk-in shower and curtain, bidet and bath with further shower and full screen. It is covered in creamy grey tiles and a terracotta frieze and features round windows on the side and above the bath in opaque glass. It is tastefully lit with recessed lighting. Perfect for luxurious relaxation. All linen including beach towels for the pool are supplied. The downstairs bathroom, ensuite to the bedroom, has beautiful gold tiles, a bath with shower and complete sliding screen , a brand new spacious sink with large granite bench and cupboards. Underneath is the new washing machine, handy for the airer on the patio. The cloakroom offers a 3rd toilet and sink and is covered in green tiles and a large mirror. any further drying can be done on site in the laundry room.

  • 102 The Palms is a second home, not merely a buy to let house. Clients are constantly impressed by the loveliness of the apartment and the attention to detail for all ages. It has two spacious bedrooms with an outstanding amount of wardrobe and drawer space. The divan bed in the lounge sleeps two and has a brand new fully sprung mattress. There is a cot for infants placed where required and a highchair. Everywhere in the house has been refurbished to the highest standards. The balcony upstairs has furniture and umbrella, ideal for the evening drink. The spacious gated downstairs patio has a large table, chairs and umbrella. It is extremely well located for the main swimming pool, restaurant and games facilities, yet maintains it privacy with gardens to front and rear and private path to the back entrance. Attention has been given to life in the sun with a good supply of pint and half pint plasyic beakers you can take to the pool, good quality plastic crockery for out door meals.

The kitchen features beautiful granite worktops and a servery hatch opened by two white aluminium doors on to the beautiful granite breakfast bar. The washing machine was placed in the downstairs bathroom for convenience. All appliances are brand new. The kitchen is well stocked with a complete range of pots & pans kitchen knives & all necessities for self catering. The cabinet in the lounge contains a 30 piece matching dinner service in addition to an assortment of crockery in the kitchen. There are matching aluminium windows on the entrance to the kitchen and sliding windows above the worktop for more fresh air as well as the extractor fan. It is lit with recessed lighting which also activates another extractor. The lounge opens onto the balcony terrace where one can enjoy the sunset while sipping a drink. There are child gates at the top and bottom of the stairs for safety. The table can easily accommodate 6 but there are 3 extra chairs in the house & a highchair.

Home from home

On arrival, the place was very clean and spacious. There were plenty of "little touches" like a welcome pack of a few essential groceries, liquid hand soap, spare toilet rolls, etc. A full compliment of hand and bath towels, tea towels, beach towels (all linen was replaced every week).

Although the downstairs bedroom was only 25 feet away from the club house, there was no noise from any late night revellers, as the patio door were double-double glazed (a second pair outside the first!). Raewyn and the person who looks after the place for her obviousley care about the house. We will definately be re-booking without any hesitation!

Clean, well equipped & looked after with everything you need for an excellent holiday.

Welcome pack on arrival was a lovely idea, especially as we arrived late at night. The house had everything we needed & the sheets & towels were changed half way through out stay. We received comprehensive details on the property & useful information about shops & restaurants in the area which was brilliant.

The pool area was clean & well maintained, with plenty of sun loungers around the pool even though it was mid August. I would definitely recommend the accommodation & resort.

The only negative thing is that you are under the flight path, but we were aware of that when we booked and for us it was not an issue.

Fabulous house and Resort!

We've visited The Palms twice - both in October (2009 & 2010). The house is beautifully kept and so well equipped. Raewyn goes to great effort to ensure that you have all of the information that you need for your stay and the house is immaculately clean. Situated within a hop, skip and a jump of the Pool Bar/Restaurant, tThe owner Babs and her staff couldn't be any more welcoming. The food is good and reasonably priced and they offer entertainment every night. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and supermarkets within the vicinity. Would definately recommend getting a taxi to the local fishing village nearby for a meal at El Mirador - fantastic! All information is in the Information Pack supplied in the house. We would not hesitate to recommend this for a getaway. Close to the airport and with regular buses to the main resorts it is a perfect location for you to just get away from it all but be close enough to the hustle and bustle if required. We had a car the second time to explore a bit more of the island but this isn't essential as there are organised trips that can be arranged locally.

We'll certainly be returning again - can't wait to go back!!

Fantastic resort lovely people

Stayed here for 1 week in July lovely house lovely position kitchen was great and so were the two balconies 1 overlooking pool and 1 on the ground floor very large area could of held a party there!!

Easy directions from owner taxi costing 15 euro from airport same on return this house has the great assett of being so close to the bar/restauruant i think we ate here 5 out of 7 nights food is so good great choice and very reasonable do not miss the sunday roast or the wednesday bbq 4 meats and all salad u can eat for 10euro including chips which are delicious we had salmon steaks scampi lasagne i could go on all between 6 and 10 euros each have to say big hello to babs and arnie they really do make this place tick and are worth their weight in gold nothing is to much trouble you would not have to leave the complex at all as you could have cooked english brekkie at 2.95 euro lunch and dinner here in the evening they have entertainment every night we did go to the casino in playa de las americas taxi here was between 20 and 25 euro we had a good night coming away winning!! unfortunatly the supermarket at las adelfis 2 is now closed so you will need to walk down road to las adelfis 1 which is only 2 mins away here is also a good restaurant called fishy fishy and o donnell the irish pub open till very late . The pools at the complex are great we prefered the large 1 at the top next to the medical centre we virtually had this to ourselves all day . Yes this place is directly under the flight path but in no way is it a problem its quite good fun spotting which airline is coming in next they have busy times and not busy times and hardly fly at night at all. Thank you Raewyn for letting us share your home i really recommend this place and hope to return myself again one day if only to see Babs and Arnie !!

102 The Palms is a beautifully refurbished house in a Prime complex, with 4 pools, the nearest to the house heated Nov.-Dec. and close to two golf courses, the sea, San Blas Center, and the delightful fishing village of Los Abrigos with its fresh fish restaurants and pretty jetty. The perfect location for a relaxing holiday. In easy driving distance is San Miguel and the Mock castle and riding school, 15 min to attractons of Siam Park, Aqualand, and the Camel Park. A 10k drive along the motorway to the towns of Los Cristianos and Las Americas. The area has local attractions but Tenerife as a whole offers all year round sun and attractions from walking, water sports, golf, mountain bike and motorbike riding, quad bikes and jeep rides. owners have done many of the walks and can advise interested walkers.

The buses are very cheap and offer easy access to many places; 10 min to the beautiful beach of el Medano, 20 min to Los Cristianos where you can take buses to anywhere in Tenerife.

Other Activities: flat green bowling at Winter Gardens, mini golf, gym, squash, spa.
