*** No parties/events/visitors without host's written permission ***
There is no other place in Malibu with views like this -from the lights of Santa Monica in east to the Channel Islands in west. Just look at the pictures. Romantic and private with a great kitchen.
It's one large space suitable for 2 people (plus young kids). Beds for max 4 people who are good friends. Just look at the pictures and think of "one large space".
It's all about the views. The space is one big bright room (about 1000 sqft/90 m**2), with large windows to south and east. The view is 180 degrees -Santa Monica to east, Channel Islands to the west. You'll see Palos Verdes peninsula, Santa Catalina Island, Channel Islands. On a very clear day you see Santa Barbara Island 40 miles south, San Nicolas Island 66 miles SW, and even San Clemente Island 71 miles away.
There is TV with 400+- channels. There are no music players or loudspeakers.
You have very fast WiFi access (50 mbps up/down). There's a Wi-Fi ink-jet printer.
No parties/events/visitors without my written permission.
Note: no visitors without my written permission. No parties without my written permission. It is a very quiet neighborhood. I want to keep it that way.
You have access to this space as well as to the outside decks. There is a gas grill outside. You are also free to use the washer and dryer without charge. Professional Wolf 6-burner stove with oven. Toaster oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge with freezer
You also get my famous well-liked (many of my guests seem to like it) printed guide (you'll get it also via email when book) to the apartment and Malibu which lists restaurants, groceries what to see and so on. It is guaranteed not to get ever approved by the Malibu Chamber of Commerce.
Interaction with Guests
Your visit is your private visit. I am pretty much available to help and assist you if you need something -text messaging me is the best way to get hold of me.
The neighborhood is rural residential -tranquil and quiet. We are at 700+ ft / 230m elevation. Environmental noise pollution consist mainly of the surf at Zuma Beach and coyotes howling in the night. One sees coyotes a few times every week -and you may see skunks and raccoons and tons of squirrels on the yard.
You need your own transportation. There is no reasonable public transportation -the is USA after all. One bus (534) goes to Santa Monica every half and hour or so in daylight hours.
Other Things to Note
This is my bohemian home -you will find my books and magazines on the shelves, my stuff in drawers etc. Don't expect a sterile hotel room. Do not panic if you find cartoons on my fridge door.
