My husband Robert and I stayed here for our 7th wedding anniversary and we loved it. We stayed in September 2007. The family is great and the house is comfortable, extremly clean and large. The patio was our favorite spot to have a little expresso and dessert almost every night. It is quite easy to get to all locations from this apartment and the town is very friendly and quaint. Recommend this house highly for all ages with or without children. A car is a definate need if you plan on sight seeing Amalfi and Sorrento. There are buses but the car is a lot more convenient.
Although this is a half-hour, very pleasant bus ride from Sorrento, we loved this spacious, nicely furnished, well equipped apartment. Personal photographs, books etc., made us feel like visitors in a friend’s home. The two big terraces are wonderful, especially the one overlooking the bay. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. Lots of tourist information available.
S Agatha is a nice little town, with a lovely church, in walking distance from the apartment. From here you take the bus to Sorrento. There is a walk to Sorrento which is fine if you feel like hiking, but for us, we regretted taking it – it may be only 1.5 km but it’s quite steep, winding, some steps, albeit very picturesque – and we were exhausted by the time we got there. But we are not young! It’s downhill all the way, so going back would be much more demanding!
If we came back to this area, we would definitely like to stay in this apartment again.
