The best part is the hostess, Carmela
Amazing view, spacious and clean property - just as described. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for an escape from the crowds. The restaurant across the street, Ristorante La Torre One Fire, had the best meal we had while in the region. The staff was amazingly welcoming and made us feel so at home. Plus, the price was the most reasonable in the area.
But, the best part of this property is the hostess - Carmela. She is not only very responsive and attentive to your needs, but she will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. She helped us not only during our visit, but before and after as we had issues with our flights. She volunteered to communicate with the luggage couriers on our behalf and continuously checked in to ensure that things were taken care of. She gave us peace of mind beyond expectations! Thank you so much, Carmela!
Wonderful property, amazing views
We had a really wonderful stay at Maison Amelia with our two small children. It’s a lovely property with an exceptional view of Capri that will stick in our memories for a long time.
The house is very clean and comfortably furnished. The garden is beautifully maintained with lemon trees and a great range of Mediterranean plants. The village location is remote but charming so you need a car but there is an excellent restaurant - La Torre One Fire - in the village next to the entrance to the property. It’s an excellent base for exploring the Amalfi coast, Pompeii, Sorrento, Capri and the surrounding areas. Highly recommended.
Very little - it is so wonderful! Maybe having a house book with a guide to how things work in the property and local recommendations would be helpful.
