Hi, my name's Pat. I grew up and went to school in Llanelli, S. Wales, UK. I spent some time studying in Nuneaton, North Warwickshire, but was drawn back to live and work in S. Wales, where I currently live. I enjoy dog-walking, playing tennis, golf and eating good food with a nice glass of wine.
Pat purchased this Apartment in 2001
Why Pat chose Penarth
I fell in love with the apartment at first sight, having viewed many other properties. It is light, airy and modern, but essentially very cosy. The apartment building and surrounding area is very peaceful, but extremely well situated to enjoy all of the sporting, cultural, shopping and culinary delights of the vicinity. Transportation is excellent, with bus, train and water-taxi links to the city and Penarth town. It is 20mins drive to Cardiff International Airport. My favorite thing to do is just stroll around the Marina, looking at the lovely boats and then a walk over Cardiff Bay Barrage for a nice coffee .... makes me feel like I'm on holiday!
What makes this Apartment unique
Very convenient location for Cardiff city centre, Penarth town, Cardiff Bay. Excellent transportation links using train, bus or water-taxi. Great for sports fans, 10mins to Millennium stadium, Cardiff football stadium. Walking distance to Cardiff Whitewater rafting centre, Cardiff Devils Ice Hockey rink and Cardiff International Swimming Centre. You are in walking distance to Ikea and Cardiff Bay retail outlet and a variety of restaurants, or there is a large Tesco outlet on the corner. Also, Sommelin's Michelin starred restaurant is on the seafront in Penarth.
Good apartment. Quiet neighborhood.
On the Penarth side. Close to a Tesco and a short walk (albeit up a steep hill) to restaurants.
