The Vine and The Lavenders are newly refurbished two-bedroom maisonettes each sleeping 4, situated just a two-minute walk from West Byfleet station where 3-4 trains per hour run to London taking 30 to 40 minutes. Both have cosy cottagey interiors with fireplaces although central heating is used to heat the properties. The flatscreen wall-mounted TVs have a multi-channel TV service. Fast Wi-Fi broadband is provided. One bedroom has a double bed, the other has twin 2'6' beds which can be made up as a Kingsize double if preferred. In The Lavenders 4 separate beds can be arranged. The good-sized separate kitchens come equipped with hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. There is a generous worktop area and the usual electric kettle and toaster, plenty of pots, pans, crockery, glasses and cutlery. The bathrooms have baths with shower over.
One of the best features are the charming private gardens which enjoy plenty of sun. A garden table and 4 chairs are available for alfresco dining and drinks.
These apartments are just a few minutes walk from the centre of West Byfleet. Situated between Woking and Weybridge, West Byfleet has a thriving village centre with numerous restaurants including Italian, Indian, Southern Indian, Japanese, Thai, Chinese and a renowned British fish and chip restaurant as well as a Costa Coffee lounge and other pavement cafes serving excellent coffee and cakes. The town has three banks, several hairdressers, beauty salon, dress shops, chemists and a Waitrose supermarket. Marks and Spencer and Tesco superstores are within a mile of the town centre. With its proximity to London (as close as 25 minutes away by fast trains and 40-50 minutes by trains that stop en route) West Byfleet is popular with commuters. The town is also ideally placed for reaching popular attractions of the South East. Brooklands Museum, Mercedes-Benz World and Painshill Park are virtually next door. Others such as Hampton Court, Lego Land, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures and the race courses of Kempton Park, Sandown and Ascot are just a short drive away. The maisonette is in a pretty tree-line road close to Woodham Lock on the Basingstoke Canal and the small village green with pub in front of the station. It is only a few minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and facilities of West Byfleet. The village has a thriving centre with restaurants of many nationalities, a Costa coffee lounge, pavement cafes, Waitrose supermarket and numerous shops, banks and pub. Towns close to West Byfleet, include Woking, Weybridge, Walton-on-Thames, Esher, Cobham, and Guildford. Nearby attractions include Brooklands Museum on the site of the world's first motor racing circuit, Mercedes-Benz World, Painshill Park, Claremont Landscape Gardens and the RHS gardens at Wisley. West Byfleet is within a few miles of popular tourist attractions including Hampton Court Palace, Windsor Castle, Lego Land, Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventures.
