Beautiful cottage and perfect hosts
En Bretus is a fantastic place. It is a beautiful cottage with gorgeous views of the fields and countryside. We loved having dinner at the terrace from where we enjoyed the beautiful sunset colouring the sky over the village nearby. The cottage is very well equipped and furnished. It is a quiet and peaceful place and still within easy driving distance of Toulouse, Albi and other main attractions. Karen and Ian are the perfect hosts. Kind and helpful with information on everything we needed including information on where and when the Tour de France passed by nearby. We would highly recommend En Bretus.
Lovely cottage in a beautiful location
Excellent. We really enjoyed staying here with every attention to detail by Karen and Ian.
We had the most amazing holiday. The cottage was stunning with amazing views of both fields and the Pyrenees mountains. The pool, table tennis and bikes were a great hit with the children. The only sound we heard were the crickets and church bells in the distance. This is a good location to get away from it all in a peaceful setting. The owners dogs came to say hello in the evening which was lovely as they are very friendly. We would highly recommend.
So glad that you had a great holiday and it was lovely to meet you all! Lara's missing Charlie and Evie already.
Hopefully we'll have a chance to welcome you back to En Bretus again sometime.
Beautiful, very comfortable cottage and the best possible hosts
En Bretus is set in countryside with gorgeous views, within easy driving of Toulouse, Albi and Carcassonne, plus any number of wonderful villages and hamlets, and the countryside is beautiful too. Really great restaurants abound. Hosts/owners Karen and Ian are the loveliest people, helpful, kind, going the extra to make us feel comfortable and at home. The cottage itself is spacious, beautifully and comfortably furnished and equipped. We book gites/cottages often, this may be the best one ever. Thank you Karen and Ian for everything.
Wonderful hosts, wonderful location, wonderful cottage
Couldn't have been better. Only sadness was having to leave.
We spent a blissful week in this lovely cottage, comfortably furnished, with expansive views of the French countryside. I'm sure we'll be coming back--as we see from the guest book that others have. Thanks, Karen and Ian.
Thank you so much for that Eric! We'd love to see you all again back here again some time.
