Extremely Satisfied

  • 5 of 5

We were extremely satisfied with our stay at "the Cottage" in Jacksonville. It was the perfect amount of space for the two of us. We loved it so much that we kept extending our stay and ended up staying 5 nights! We stayed there for as long as it was available. We definitely plan on coming back!

If you're like me, you read all the reviews before making a decision. Before we booked the cottage, I read that the heater was hard to use, there wasn't a hair dryer, and the sheets kept slipping. I assure you that all of these things were acknowledged by the owner and taken care of. She even made sure the heater was warming up the little house before we arrived so that it was nice and cozy! (We did come on 12/26 so it was a pretty chilly night and much appreciated!)

Thank you so much for making our first visit to the precious little town of Jacksonville a memorable one!

Quaint little hideaway

  • 4 of 5

Perfect little hideaway just around the corner from the main street. Easy access to everything - most within walking distance, great parking, very comfortable bed.

Just know that Google maps will drop you off on the other side of the street, as we were later informed that the street numbering is not always linear in Jacksonville. Also, double check the login code with the Owner/Manager early in the day on your check-in if possible.

Perfect Location!

  • 4 of 5

Great Location. Parking was nice to have in front of the unit. Within walking distance of just about everything. Clean and comfortable. 2 sets of forks, knives and spoons would be nice for left-overs. A wine opener would also be nice since there is 4 wine glasses. Also a bathmat for in front of the shower might be nice. Non of these things hindered the wonderful stay in Jacksonville with my daughter. I Will plan on staying again in the Fall. Thank you!

Lovely Cottage

  • 4 of 5

This cottage is in a fantastic location, very clean, and comforting! We enjoyed using the small outdoor space for yoga in the morning, then sitting outside in the same space while having a nightcap in the evening. Will definitely be back!

Cute place in good location

  • 4 of 5

Jacksonville (besides Ashland) is the nicest town in Southern Oregon. Sitting in the middle of an up-and-coming wine region makes it even more attractive. The cottage is right in the center of Jacksonville and everything is in walking distance. It is cute, clean and on-site parking is a bonus, particularly on Friday and Saturday night when the town is hopping. I subtracted one star because on a cold day heating the place is somewhat of a problem. We found the place cute, but not really cozy. However, there is still much to recommend it.
