Beautifully, spacious, and convenient.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Alberto met us when we arrived and personally showed us the features of the house and also gave us some pointers. We really liked that he had asked about what we wanted to do while we were there and had information about each of the items we mentioned. It was off season so things weren’t always open but Alberto had that information covered. We were able to catch a bus right below the house and travel to the nearby towns. We hiked the Path of the Gods which was amazing.

Alberto also set us up with transport by his cousin, Patrizio, to and from Naples where we arrived by train. Patrizio also took us on an Almafi coast tour that we would highly recommend. We visited Amalfi, Ravello, and made stops to make mozzarella, taste limoncello, and see how the ceramics are made.

We also recommend the small pizza shop in Montepertuso. You can take the pizza back to the house or enjoy it there. They always have sports on the tv so we watched some soccer.

In all, this is a great place to stay with a great host.

The Villa was everything we wanted

  • 5 of 5

Alberto was awesome. So helpful getting us there and helping with our arrangements for leaving. Everyone in the town was very helpful as well. I would say that if you're not somewhat fit the stairs could be a problem but if you're familiar with the area you already know that everything is a climb. It was spotless and modern and the views were spectacular. I highly recommend Alberto's villa. You won't be disappointed!!

A wonderful experience!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I vacationed for three beautiful weeks in this lovely villa. The villa was immaculate, everything you could possibly need was right there at your finger tips. Fully equipped kitchen, towels, linens and a few basics in the cabinet, oil, spices, etc. The pictures you see on line are exactly what the villa looked like. The view off the terrace was beautiful.

Our host, Alberto was wonderful. When I needed a few hangers he was there the next day. To say nothing of the treats his family shared, fresh figs, vegtables from their garden and the most delicious zapolies I have ever tasted. When I expressed how good they were Alberto called his Mom and got the recipe for me.

The bedding was comfortable and the air conditioning worked beautifully. We were so comfortable in every way.

Short steps away was a market and two restaurants, with two others close by. All excellent. We cooked in more often than we ate out. All the food I n the market was so fresh. A short walk down the hill from the bus stop is a small restaurant that was delicious, and affordable.

There are stairs to get to and from the villa , so I would not recommend this area at all for anyone that uses a walker or wheelchair.

A bus minutes away will take you down to the town of Positano. Cabs average about £30 to get from the village to town, so the bus is far more practical. From Positano your choices of where to visit are endless.

Alberto's cousin Patrizio was our driver, and we can not say enough about him. Any information you need Alberto and Patrizio are a phone call away.

This was a wonderful vacation, and a big part of it was due to the kindness and hospitality of Alberto and his family. Don't miss the opportunity to stay at this villa!

Thank you again Alberto for s wonderful experience.

Spacious Apartment

  • 5 of 5

Alberto’s apartment in Montepertuso is in hills above Positano. The apartment is spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 lovely bathrooms. It also has a beautiful kitchen and living area. Alberto has thought of every amenity and has a large loose leaf book containing bus and ferry schedules, tour information and maps. There is a large balcony with a view of the sea. We loved sitting out there especially at night looking at the lights in the hills above. Positano is a short bus ride down the mountain. You can take the ferry to Amalfi and then a bus to Ravello, a beautiful town in the hills above Amalfi. We were in Italy for 2 weeks and Alberto’s apartment was so comfortable and spacious that we hated to leave and go back to Rome. There is also a washing machine that enabled us to catch up and do some washing. Alberto thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The perfect apartment for our visit to Positano!

  • 5 of 5

The apartment in Montepertuso was the perfect place for our visit to the Amalfi Coast. It was very near the town square with 2 very good restaurants nearby. The apartment was exactly as pictured with easy access to the bus and the stairs to Positano. The local market has everything one needs for your stay. Alberto was the best as a host. He gave us exact instructions to reach the apartment by car and was at the curb waiting for us. He even helped us with our luggage. Alberto was very knowledgeable about local attractions and was only ever a text or phone call away for our questions. The apartment also has its very own parking spot that was easily accessible even though we used the bus most of the time. When we return to Positano, this will be our spot.

Grazie mille Alberto

Lovely apartment above Positano

  • 5 of 5

The 2 bedroom/2 bath apt is lovely & Alberto is a great, friendly host. Apt has about everything you need for spending time in the area. The bus ride down to Positano is an experience everyone should have. The market & restaurants have everything one needs - unless you want to make every meal at the apt. We did not cook at all. My advice, if from the States, and you want to do laundry - ask Alberto how to use the machine. Hope to stay again at Alberto's. Also, his cousin, Patrizio Mandara +393381746557 provides excellent car service to all areas, speaks great English & is very helpful. Helped me so much. Will use him again when in the area. Great place to stay while visiting Positano.

Positano offers, as well as quiet days of sea and sun, many destinations for excursions and visits to the natural beauty of the area. There are connections and guided excursions to the areas of tourist interest and cultural (Capri, Amalfi, Ravello, Pompeii).

You can take advantage of a starry night to hear an exclusive concert on the scenic lookout of Ravello, exploring the rich depths being guided by expert local guides, turn to the mountains behind the Amalfi Coast, looking for natural scenery little known, as fascinating waterfalls and rare plants typical of the Mediterranean flora.
