Villa Maritima is a conversion property that is perfect for families and friends situated just 40 metres from the pebble beach. The property has been converted into two charming apartments. The first floor apartments being accessed by an outside circular staircase. In nearby Milna (20 min walk, 5 min by car) there are a variety of sports and recreational facilities available that include soccer, table tennis and volleyball. For those visitors that prefer a more active holiday you can go swimming, scuba diving, spear fishing, surfing or sailing. This Island town has preserved the harmony of fisherman’s houses and rural architecture. In the background you will see winding roads going to vineyards and olive groves. This part of Croatia is most definitely orientated towards the sea and offers amazing sailing opportunity.
Spent a week in this villa with my boyfriend and another couple. Was nice relaxing place after all our exams. Only 15 mins from town/nightlife. Nice restaurants and bars. Locals were friendly. My boyfriend and I had downstairs villa - our friends had the upstairs. All rooms really clean. Balcony great for drinks in the evening. Would definitely recommend!
Loved it!. Osibova Bay on Brac Island is beautiful and unspoiled. Not touristy at all which is why we loved it so much. We are going back this summer. We booked Villa Maritima I from croatia4rent.com. Our friends booked Villa Maritima II also from Croatia 4 Rent. Erich the owner was really helpful and gave us lots of useful tips for a great holiday. Villa is in a really nice quiet spot and literally just a minute away from the Bay. You can walk into Milna town - nice marina, restaurants and few bars etc - it was a perfect location for all members of our family (we have 2 under 10s and our friends have two teenagers). This is really relaxing place and met our needs perfectly. Both villas are lovely, very clean with good aircon.
We spent our summer holidays (14 days) in August / September 2016 in this apartment (FeWo -direct ID: 894050). While the weather and the Adriatic Sea were perfect (as usual in Croatia), the house was disappointing and did not match our previous experiences. The flat was quite small and the arrangement of the furniture could have been improved (e.g., in the kitchen, the oven was position halfway between the sink and the draining section). More frustrating was that when we arrived, the house was in a relatively bad condition. Examples: in some rooms the lamps did not work and / or dust remained on the floor and / or the walls were a bit dirty, in some rooms the windows could not be fully closed / opened or the dishes were not perfectly cleaned from the previous tenants, etc. etc. Where does this leave us? If you do not particularly care about a well-kept (clean) accommodation and instead will spend most of your holidays at the beach and / or go to a restaurant for lunch / dinner, you should rent this apartment. However, if you want to spend some days at the house / terrace (besides going to the beach) and love preparing food by yourself, you should ultimately not rent this house.
Nearest town is Milna (5 min drive) for basic groceries, bars and cafés and numerous restaurants. Car is highly recommended to explore the stunning scenery.
Self drive car hire drive to Trogir is 20 minutes from Split Airport. To Brac Island accommodation drive to Split Ferry Terminal. Add a very pleasant 50 minute Ferry Ride from to Supetar, Brac Island. Supetar to Osibova Bay is a 45 minute car ride. Airport transit time to Split Harbour varies.
