|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
This traditional 2 storey stone built house offers all the things a 14 person (or larger 23 person) group would need: Inside and outside dining area, old fashioned Dalmatian barbecue, spacious and practical kitchen/dining area, wc/shower. Thalassina I is the ground floor 3 bedroom apartment unit & Thalassina II is the first floor 4 bedroom apartment with access via an outside circular staircase. A perfect spot for families and friends. (Please note we can accommodate up to 23 people as our other Villa only 20 metres away sleeps up to 9 people).
My family stayed here with another family, using both properties that belonged to this owner....we were a party of 11.
It was a great place for active families with beautiful water and near to the house...we could see the children from the terrace/balcony, swimming across the bay. Tranquil, but houses close enough to not feel isolated. A gorgeous spot, worth a visit. The main house could accommodate us all and the rooms were clean, modern furnishings and comfortable. Local town Milna great for evenings out, to watch the sailing boats coming in and out.
We were a large group of family and friends (13 in all) from the UK, Germany and Serbia staying in Milna. The house size took all of us…so it was perfect. Liked the old Stone House and the farmhouse / rustic feel. Better than the modern bland villas that are out there. If you want a relaxing break in a beautiful, unspoiled location in an older country side style property then… this is the place. We were just a few steps away from Osibova Bay and still had great privacy from the surrounding trees. Very relaxing atmosphere. There's enough restaurants and bars in Milna, a short distance away - but we spent many relaxing days and nights in the garden and on the Veranda overlooking the Bay. Our children loved the beach and the teenagers loved going into Milna.
It met everyone's needs. Definitely recommend it.
Situated only a few metres away from the Villa Thalassina are the beautiful clear blue waters of Osibova Bay which is perfect for water sports, sailing or simply relaxing on the beach. Within 25 min walk there is the attractive sailing village of Milna complete with a variety of local restaurants and bars. Brac Island is a 50 minute ferry ride from Split and now that Easyjet fly to directly to Split it really is an ideal family location.
Nearest town is Milna (5 mins drive) for basic groceries, bars and cafés and numerous restaurants. Car is highly recommended to explore the stunning scenery. Self-drive car hire drive to Trogir is 20 minutes from Split Airport. To Brac Island accommodation drive to Split Ferry Terminal. Add a very pleasant 50 mins ferry ride from to Supetar, Brac Island. Supetar to Osibova Bay is a 45 mins car ride. Airport transit time to Split Harbour varies.
