Amazing!

We loved our stay! Alan was really nice and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Everything was there: towels, beach mats, dish soap and much more. The road was quiet in the morning and at night and the apartment is right over a great pizza place. The beach is only a few minutes away and very beautiful. Great experience overall.

Be Prepared!

This apartment is conveniently located near Cour Salaya market, the tram, beach and innumerable restaurants. It's kitchen is well stocked and roomy. If space is what you're looking for in a one bedroom apartment in the thick of activities, you will find it in this property. It's stylish and comfortable. Alan, one of the owners, met me and was kind enough to help take my very heavy suitcase up the 2 flights of stairs. Information of all kinds has been provided in both their book about the apartment and things to do and many brochures. Most everything was very good with only a couple of minor things like a little mold in the shower.

Now for the the part about being prepared: the apartment isn't air conditioned and we were pretty uncomfortable (especially at night) as a heat wave hit southern France. Since the apartment is on a fairly busy pedestrian street with lots of restaurants, it stays busy at night. Noise makes its way to the apartment with the windows open, so come prepared with ear plugs. It was much to hot (even with 2 large fans) to close the windows at night. At one point we were so uncomfortable that we were going to check into a hotel. None of this is the fault of the owners as they can't control Mother Nature!

Overall a good stay.

Wonderful place to immerse yourself in all that Old Town Nice has to offer.

Staying in this lovely apartment, in a building from the 1600's, we enjoyed a wonderful vacation in the midst of Old Town. Everything you need, from beach mats and towels to spices and balsamic, and even a bottle of wine is provided by the host Alan. The location is convenient to the tram, the beach, lots of restaurants, shopping, and the ambience of Old Town Nice and its cafe culture. This was one of our best vacations, no car rental, lots of walking, wonderful people, easy access to the train to visit neighbouring towns and Italy for day trips, and even an e-bike excursion to the only urban winery in France.

As far as the unit itself, the bed is comfortable, it's very well equipped, fans are provided, though air conditioning for the warmer months would be a welcome addition. This unit is comfortable. It's not luxurious, but it is everything it promises to be and more. The host, Alan, is lovely and provides a warm welcome and lots of information to ensure your stay is a happy one. We would stay here again and give this apartment a full recommendation.

Cosy and comfortable

Six very comfortable nights just before Christmas in Alan and Ciaran’s beautifully fitted out apartment. Could not be more centrally located, in a pedestrianised area, close to old town shops, outdoor food market and right next door to very pleasant restaurants. Comfortable bed, good bed linens and towels and pillows OK. A tip: if you need to find a hot dryer to dry your washing quickly, there is a self-service launderette 5 minutes walk away just up the Rue de la Boucherie, towards Place Centrale.

Stylish and modern

Amazing location in the heart of nice. Easy to locate and were met by friendly owners. Everything in the apartment for a short break or longer stay. Just 5 minutes walk to the promenade and very handy for bus and tram stops.

Would love to return back very soon to sample the sunshine and fantastic food.

Also, there are very few steps to climb to reach it!

We are of Irish nationality, live all year round in Nice and take care personally - in English, French and Spanish - of the well-being of our guests. Come to Nice, at any time of the year, for a weekend break, a short or extended holiday; to enjoy this very special corner of France, its Mediterranean light and exceptional climate.

The apartment is located on the pedestrian RUE DU MARCHÉ, lined with shops and restaurants, one of the most picturesque in the old town of Nice. Its location at less than five minutes on foot from the promenade des Anglais and its beaches is really perfect. Everything to make life easy and enjoyable is, literally, within a radius of 5 to 10 minutes from your front door:

• Bus stops serving Nice-Côte d'Azur airport, the coastal region and much of the hinterland - Menton, Monaco, Cannes, Grasse, Vence, Éze, La Turbie... most of the journeys for the price of €1.50 (€1.00 with a 10-journey ticket).

• The tramway providing convenient access to the SNCF Nice-Ville and Nice-Riquier train stations.

• The colourful, lively, narrow streets of VIEUX NICE, their extraordinary variety of shops, art galleries and workshops, bars, restaurants - their unexpected, hidden secrets.
