Talbot Road is a well located street moments from the restaurants, shops and bars of Notting Hill and Kensington Gardens. Portobello Road and its fantastic market and trendy bars and restaurants are few minutes away.

For the motorist easy access is provided to the A40 (M) for routes in and out of London, Queensway (Central line) and Bayswater (District, Circle and Central lines) are the nearest underground stations and National Rail services are accessible via Paddington Station (Hammersmith & City, District, Circle and Bakerloo Lines).

You've heard the hype, seen the movie...now visit the area!!! NOTTING HILL

Notting Hill is an area in West London, in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The area is most well-known for Portobello Market (on Portobello Road, unsurprisingly), which runs every day except Sundays, and the Notting Hill carnival, held every year on the last weekend in August.

Of course, we couldn't talk about Notting Hill without mentioning the film. Released in 1999 and starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts, the film did much to promote and raise interest in the area. The late 1990s, after all, was still a time when much of Notting Hill was undergoing changes and gentrification.

Notting Hill is a great place to visit, from its cafes and restaurants, its market and boutique shops, to its many pubs and bars. It holds much in the way of entertainment, whatever your interest - be it shopping, dining, film, drinking, clubbing or more!

You can stay right in the heart of the area if you choose to stay at our property.

London Vacation

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. There were four of us and

we had plenty of room. The kitchen has everything you need and the

nice lady who met us supplied fresh milk. The neighborhood is

quiet. There are numerous pubs, cafes and shops within walking distance.

Notting Hill Station is about a mile walk. You can also walk to Kensington Palace.

The property description is accurate. It was clean and maintained.

The owner accommodated our arrival schedule but could have provided

more information about the check in process.

I would recommend this property.

We stayed in this location for 5 nights, June 22 - June 27. Our original reservation was for two additional nights which I canceled well in advance. I AM STILL TRYING TO GET MY REFUND FOR THOSE TWO NIGHTS FROM MANFREDO. The location is good and the upstairs fine for a family of four adults with one toddler - therefore the 3 star rating. However, there has been significant water damage to the downstairs where the bedrooms and bathrooms are located, and there is a VERY strong smell of mildew. It is a shame this property is not being maintained. Significant and costly work needs to be done to eradicate the mildew and make it a pleasant and healthy place for people to stay..

The outside was disappointing, especially since it is one reason we chose this rental. The lawn had not been mowed and was about two feet tall; outdoor furniture was dirty. Our adult son found quite a bit of dry rot in the wood of the decking and steps and felt it was not safe.

An exceptional property!

This flat is delightful. It’s attractive, comfortable, and very well maintained. From our first point of contact with the owner to our final message, he was very helpful and responsive. We were met upon arrival at the flat and given very useful information about the property and the neighborhood, and we were met again the day we departed. We were 6 adults and one toddler, and there was ample space for all of us. The garden out back is an added bonus with concrete benches, large picnic table, and a charcoal grill. Notting Hill turned out to be the perfect area for our week-long stay. The surrounding neighborhood is lovely and safe. The Bayswater tube stop is an easy 10-minute walk, and it’s on the Circle Line so accessible to virtually everything in central London in 15-20 minutes. Nice shops, street vendors, and an excellent variety of restaurants and cafes are within walking distance as well as two very nice playgrounds. The renowned Portobello Road Market is just a few blocks away. The main floor includes the living room, dining area, and kitchen. The kitchen is very well stocked. There was some tourist information in the cabinet as well as a guidebook. The furnishings were very comfortable and the large windows provide ample light and nice ventilation. All three bedrooms and all baths are on the lower level. The master bedroom is spacious and has an en suite bathroom (but no shower). There is a large closet but no chest of drawers which would have been helpful. The bedside lamps need to be taller and brighter to provide better lighting for those who like to read in bed. The two smaller bedrooms are well-sized; both have shelves and drawer space. A hairdryer with the right plug was provided which was much appreciated. The main bath is lovely and very large – built like a conservatory with lots of glass and natural light. The shower is fantastic – like a giant rain shower. The only downside is that this one shower must be shared by all occupants. A mirror near the sink in the main bath would be nice. There is a half bath on the lower level as well. The absence of windows in the two smaller bedrooms was not an issue – made for easy sleeping. All the beds were comfortable with nice linens and more than enough towels. There is a washer and dryer within the main bath and also a large drying rack.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Talbot Road and highly recommend this property. We would definitely return on a future visit.

Perfect London week

A nice and spacious apartment with a perfect location for our fall vacation in London. Everything worked out fine and we could even have overnight visits while we were there.

A small minus was that there was no windows in two bedrooms.

Very nice that it was soap / detergent / toilet paper / paper towels, and even some bottled water available when we arrived.

The landlord was flexible regarding the time on both arrival and departure.

2nd visit

We were so happy with our stay last year, so we decided to come back this year as well. The location is ideal for our family, with a nice and quiet neighborhood with many good local restaurants and several tube stations in reach. Everything worked out perfectly, and we feel that this has become "our" London residence.
