About Llinos Jones
Every morning you have two choices: continue to sleep with your dreams, or wake up and chase them. And that is just what we did… We are Russell and Llinos Jones, we took the plunge in August 2017 and bought Wynd Hill, the dream we’d always had, and now here we are! After years of wondering and wishing we might be brave/lucky/crazy enough to take the leap, move back west and pursue our dreams – we finally did it. We arrived one hot summer with our nearly 2 year old son, Evan, and three weeks later (!) we welcomed our second son, Macsen, to the world and our new life. The dream began with a longing to return home – Llinos is born and bred Pembrokeshire, and Russell (a Caerphilly boy) who had spent most of his childhood summers down here by the beach shared this dream. When we spotted Wynd Hill for sale it felt like fate, many years ago Llinos’ own parents had viewed the place as a prospective family home but it was too much of a project back then, today it still feels like a project but one we relish and are excited to develop. We reopened with a new name – Wynd Hill Hideaway in June 2018 on the beginning of a long road to create the vision we have for this place, our home. We hope you will come and share this idyllic spot with us as we strive to reach it’s full potential. Then you will see our dedication to making a true ‘hideaway’, a small bit of paradise by the sea, a place for everyone that is in tune with the world around it and embraces the Pembrokeshire lifestyle. Hideaway with us.

What makes this Cottage unique
A small, family friendly site just a stones throw from some of the most beautiful beaches in the county. We include three superbly redesigned Welsh cottages, an idyllic campsite with 15 pitches, 10 electrical hook ups and a newly improved toilet block. Our large meadow gives space to enjoy the peace of the countryside, while en route conveniently to Manorbier village and the Pembrokeshire National Coast Path - both just a short stroll away. With Tenby and all the amenities it provides just a 15 minute drive or bus journey away - what more could you need?..... With the cottage being part of a complex of three with a connected campsite, your more than welcome to book multiple cottages / pitches for those larger groups of friends and family.

Fabulous doggy friendly cottage in great location
Beautifully renovated cottage equipped with everything you need for comfortable stay. We stayed in smallest of 3 cottages but still plenty of space for family of four with dog. Welcoming hosts who provided lots of information and goodies. Great location for exploring Pembrokeshire and you can easily walk to village. Would visit again.

Barafundle - September 2019
Barafundle is a single storey property, the end property of 3 within a converted barn. The property itself is beautifully decorated with much thought given to the layout / interior detail. We found the property to be very clean and the beds very comfortable. Barafundle is located on what we believe to be, was a small dairy farm. There is a field at the rear of the property that is used for camping and caravans with a large lower paddock which gives access to a road which leads to the small village of Manorbier. There is a general store and pub in the village and a castle to explore.
Our suggested improvements are 1/ the property is better checked at time of change over to ensure all information packs, dog walking guides etc have not been taken by the previous guests 2/ a large 'TacMat' type mat is laid at the entrance (interior) to the property to help keep the floor clean of mud / dirt and 3/ a clock and full length mirror are both added to the living area.
A huge thanks to Llinos and Russ for a great stay and happy to recommend Barafundle to our friends.
Wonderful hideaway for a lovely break
Barafundle cottage is thoughtfully designed and beautifully presented, in a fantastic location 15 mins walk to the coastal path, via a beautiful walk through the owner's meadow, and also easily accessible by car, with parking.
The village of Manorbier has a shop selling everything (really), a great little local pub with food, and buses into Tenby and Pembroke, as well as a great beach and castle.
We appreciated the extra touches in the cottage, such as the welcome hamper and other kitchen items like salt/pepper, herbs, oil - little things that make a difference.
The rooms are well laid out, with extra thought given to shelf space, etc. A contemporary theme, great shower and comfortable beds.
Could not fault it - thanks for a great stay!
