Not bad but not great
It was very clean and tidy. Our bed was a little uncomfortable but the kids said the other two beds were comfortable. Everything is done as a bare minimum. It sleeps 6 but only 4 mugs were left. Only 4 items of each cutlery were left . Only two glasses for wine were left which was for us as a family of four (and now writing this I now realise that they have done this on purpose as a bespoke package for our stay) was ok. But it's not great when my Mum came for dinner with her sister and we are drinking wine from a tea mug. The furniture was probably the cheapest they could find. Everything wobbled when you touched it. Eating our evening meal was difficult because of the amount of movement in the dining table. The two televisions did not work. Our host said that he would get in touch with the management company to sort this but we did't hear anything. Broadband was poor which surprised us.
There was no lighting as you entered and walked in the dark up three flights of stairs. Which in this day and age with smart phones isn't that big a deal but it would have been nice to have lighting working at night when we returned home.
Plenty of towels, toiletries were left which was great. The location was lovely. Everything we needed literally there. A fantastic place just there to have breakfast, a 'Cook' shop that sold wonderful food, a Tesco across the street with a pharmacy beside it.
Even though it was ok, I wouldn't stay there again but I think that's more to do with the management company providing the bare minimum from cheap uncomfortable furniture to poor broadband.
Also I wasn't aware that you have to take photo ID or they will not give you the keys and will ask you to leave. Not a big deal to them, they will refund you and find someone else to fill your space. Apparently this happens quite a lot. Fortunately I carry my driving license. It was all very clinical with not much emotion involved.
Our host who met us was extremely pleasant and friendly and helpful but he is there just to tick the boxes. He did try to get the TV to work as well for a while but unsuccessfully.
