The main living area, pool area, and garden, are all located about 10 feet above the road level. You'll never have to be bothered by anyone when you're at home enjoying the sun at day and the stars at night.
The garden is over 9,000 square feet large and is probably the place where you will be spending most of your time. It has lovely views of the sea and hills around, two large shaded seating areas, and a large swimming pool. Most likely you'll eat most of your meals in the lovely BBQ house by the pool breathing the fresh Mediterranean sea breeze.
Living Area: There are 3 bedrooms in the villa, 2 facing the pool, and one facing the back of the garden, all fully air-conditioned and on the same level as the pool and barbecue areas. The hallway that leads you to all the bedrooms also leads you to the villas 2 bathrooms, one with a bath tub, and one with a shower. The living room area has a large dining table, a seating area with couches, an open fireplace, and a TV. Right next to the living area you will find the fully fitted kitchen where you will have plenty of space to prepare food and drinks. All the rooms in the villa have large double glazed windows that let you enjoy the views of the pool and/or the valley/sea from indoors.
About Moraira: Moraira is one of the very few unspoilt locations along the Spanish Mediterranean coast. It's a place you go to relax, get away from stress, noise, tiring city life, and bad weather. Here you will be able to enjoy the good things in life with no worries or distractions.
Moraira was founded as a fishing village and for a long time its natural harbours were used by ships to transport farm produce from the village of Teulada, which is situated a few miles inland, separated from Moraira by a wide belt of vineyards climbing up the hillsides.
The town centre is made up of a few blocks of 4/5 story apartment buildings of various age. This is where you will find the marina, numerous very good restaurants serving all kinds of different cuisines, bars, a 24 hour store (Opencor), and a gas station (Repsol). Have a stroll along the board walk, drink a glass of wine on the waterfront and enjoy the calm atmosphere on the plazas.
Activities: Moraira may be a very small town, but its location allows for a wide range of activities. The beaches are wonderful, the marina rents boats, and the town has official rock climbing paths coming up coastal cliffs. You can Go-Cart, rent Jet-skis & Kayaks, dive and so on. The waters around Moraira are actually some of the best for diving in mainland Spain. There's also plenty of things to do for kids (besides having fun at the pool and on the beach). The town has a small fun fair that's open in the evenings, and Benidorm (20 miles away) has water parks, a large zoo & marine park (Mundomar), and a large theme park (Terra Mitica). Cycling in the area's hilly landscape is amazing.
Adults can enjoy day-trips to several wonderful locations nearby. The most recommended being Valencia, a one hour drive to the north and the cultural capital of the area with wonderful architecture, markets, and its famous paella.

This is a great property in a great location with lovely views and an amazing outdoor/pool area to enjoy and comes highly recommended. We loved our 2 weeks there and we will definitely be back to Moraira and all its lovely restaurants.
The pool is large and a nice temperature; all the tiles and the surrounding area are in excellent condition. It is quite deep though so it’s worth bearing that in mind if you’re travelling with really young children. There are 8 good quality sun loungers, a wicker furniture set in the naya and a round table and chairs set outside the main living area.
This a great part of the property and we ate lunch here most days and had a couple of evening meals here as well. It has a large table and chairs, a fridge, microwave and a lovely built in brick BBQ.
The property is set on a large plot of land that extends round the back where there’s a large washing line and in the front where there’s a nice garden with another 4 seater table.
The property is well stocked in terms of towels, utensils etc and there’s a good selection of books/games etc if that’s your thing. The TV appeared to be wholly German channels but we never bothered with it anyway as well as an Xbox and games. The bedrooms are all a good size with large wardrobes and the blackout blinds work a treat in terms of keeping it dark; they also have their own AC unit. The kitchen is pretty small but contains everything you need. We had a few snags whilst we were there sorted by Tomasz quickly and efficiently.
You need a car first and foremost but that’s probably true of most properties in Moraira. This property is high up on the side of a valley; it’s about a 30 minute walk into Moraira and about the same for El Portet; it’s a steep downhill walk so you need to be in decent shape to do it. Walking back at night isn’t advisable as it’s very steep uphill and there’s very little lighting. We drove into Moriaira most nights and on the occasions we walked we got a taxi home.
Moraira is a great place packed with lovely restaurants and bars; the beach is lovely but we preferred the El Portet beach and spent quite a lot of time there. It’s just a shame that thanks to the poor exchange rate that it’s jumped up in price….
Tomasz was a great to communicate with before and during our stay and responded really quickly to any issues/questions.
This a great villa but the real st
We had a wonderful 2 weeks at Casa de Karin with our 2 children. This was our 2nd holiday in El. Portet and we were very pleased to be back. The villa has 2 different sea views and a fantastic outside space to enjoy them. The super clean pool was great with the children and the covered BBQ area brilliant for dining outside in the shade. There is also a sofa in another covered outside area and sun loungers. The jacuzzi was good fun and we were glad that we paid the extra fee to use it. The villa is on one level which was great with our 2 yr old, not having to worry about stairs. A cot and 2 highchairs (for inside and out) were provided. The villa is located up the hill from El Portet and the lovely beach, we drove down every day (probably 5 mins) but you could walk if you don't mind the hill! We also drove into Moraira several times for dinner by the sea. It is such a lovely place to go on holiday and we have already booked Casa de Karin for next year :) A final note is that communication was great, with fast replies from the friendly owners.
Five of us stayed at this great, spacious villa. It had everything you could possibly need, from kitchen equipment to games/DVD's - even pool towels were provided. Views from the pool were fabulous. Having a separate BBQ and seating area was great during a couple of rainy days. We felt the whole area was well thought out with a variety of seating areas and plenty of space around the pool. Communication with Tomazs was excellent and we would highly recommend this villa. Thank you Tomasz!
We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers and have just had a wonderful week in this beautiful villa. We will really miss lounging around the beautiful pool which was the warmest pool we have ever had at about 29 degrees C!!!!. The location is perfect, 8 euros paid for a taxi into Moraira where there are superb restaurants. The villa has everything you need. The air conditioning was very quiet and worked really well. Would highly recommend
We stayed at Casa de Karin for 5 weeks. The communication throughout the whole process with Tomasz was excellent. The villa is modern, very well maintained and clean. The garden is wonderful, lots of spaces to relax and the outside kitchen is a great addition. There are 2 big fridge freezers + a wine fridge. It is hilly and a car is essential but the hills afford the wonderful views. Moraira is a lovely town, lots of good restaurants and bars. I would not hesitate to recommend this villa.
As my headline says, this really is a superb villa in a superb location and would be a great holiday home for any family or group of travellers to this wonderful part of Spain.
The area really does have everything you could wish for from great hiking and national parks to jet ski safaris and an an abundance of wonderful beaches and rocky coves. Moraira itself is a lovely town with great restauarants and cafes offering a fantastic array of food with plenty of shops too.
The villa itself is wonderful. The inside is spacious, well laid out and very comfortably furnished with great air conditioning when necessary. There is ample storage and a well equipped kitchen as well. It is the exterior space with pool, terrace and large garden and a great outside kitchen/bar that really makes the property though and takes advantage of wonderful views. It really is a fantastic environment in which to spend some lazy, sunny days.
The property is a good 20 minutes walk downhill to El Portet beach and about 25 minutes to Moraira town and you need a strong coffee before attempting the walk back up, but that is no downside as you benefit from being close enough, by foot or especially car, whilst benefitting from the fantastic privacy and tranquility of an elevated location......oh and dare I say it again, the sea and hillside views.
I have rented many properties through HomeAway over the last ten years, but this stands out as the best by far and we will definitely be returning sometime. Hopefully soon! Thanks Tomasz for being a great, attentive and responsive host.
